Genuine rural farm experience. - This was a great rustic experience - the chance to meet a real goat farmer and his herd. We watched as the goats came obediently into the milking parlour and we're invited to place the tubes on to the goats' teats. Our host did a good job in limited English to explain everything to us and to answer our questions and to communicate his passion for his animals and his work. Afterwards, we enjoyed sampling the different kinds of cheese made from the milk and also some of our host's home made conserves. We were the only visitors on this occasion - perhaps not surprisingly as the farm is in a very rural location. There may have been space in the milking parlour for a few more visitors - but not too many! But if you want to see a genuine farm at work and to sample their artisinal produce, we can recommend this.
