Best way to study languages, while embracing Italy - Excellent language school located in the middle of Italy. The teachers were very understanding and professional and the flexibility of the courses, both in terms of level and time, exceeded my expectations. I learned German, but I do not doubt that the teachers in other languages would have also met my expectations. I probably won't forget to spend a few weeks here on my next long-term visit to Italy!

Awesome experience - I intensivley studied Italian for 2 weeks and absolutely loved it! The teachers have a unique way of teaching, where they don't give out boring worksheets unless absolutely required and speak exclusively in Italian unless the students struggle. Anywho, the course really helped me as a beginner and grew my love for the italian language. I recommend this place to anyone interested in learning this language.

EXPERIENCE RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO STUDY ITALIAN - Due to my work which often takes me to travel, I have several foreign friends and colleagues who come to Rome to visit me every now and then. When they ask me for advice on where they can learn Italian, I have always sent them to the Accademia Italiana in Ascoli Piceno. I discovered her thanks to the advice of a trusted friend, Anita (Brazilian), who had had the opportunity to meet her at the time. Why Ascoli Piceno: the city is wonderful and quiet. Zero crime, you can walk everywhere without needing cars or public transport. Amazing food, lower costs than big cities. Why the Italian Academy: highly trained and friendly teachers, whom I met personally having occasionally accompanied my friends to Ascoli and even stayed in the city for a few weeks. An extraordinary multitude of activities outside the classroom, from cooking classes to a visit to the river (with a famous ethologist from the area). All the people to whom I recommended the Academy (now at least twenty) were enthusiastic, ENTHUSIAST!, about this experience. I really feel like recommending it to anyone, as my friend Anita did to me at the time.

Excellent small school - I studied at Accademia Italiana for three weeks in March 2024. I was very pleased with the school, the director, the office staff and, above all, the teachers. Although they do not use written materials, the teachers generally had a good plan for each lesson, focusing on a particular grammatical topic each class. The city of Ascoli Piceno is wonderful. It’s not a heavily touristed place like Venice or Florence, so the people you meet on the street, in restaurants, or in stores are entirely willing to let you practice your Italian. Because this is a small school, the experience may vary depending on the number of other students in your class. I had three other students in my class for two weeks, and only one other student for the third week. This is probably the point that the person who left a negative review overlooked. At all Italian language schools in Italy, adjustments must be made if there are not enough students at a certain level. But I would much rather run the risk of having to make adjustments than run the risk of having a very large class. That’s something I always check before enrolling at a school. (I’ve studied at seven schools in different cities).

The best way to learn a language! - I travel alone very often, as I like to discover the culture of the my destinations. This course seemed perfect to me, since in addition to learning the language, it offers you the possibility of learn about Italian culture, gastronomy and history, discovering Ascoli Piceno. I didn't know that learning a language could be so fun, while we walked through the streets of the city, tasted the typical Olive all'ascolana and discovered the charm of the Tronto River. I was in the group for beginners, since I don't speak any Italian, but the teachers make you feel very comfortable with their teaching methods and in particular the fascinating classes of the director of the school, Antonella Valentini, who knows so much about Italian history and literature. Without any doubt, it was the best decision to attend this course and the staff's assistance in every moment was impeccable.

An indelible experience! - In March I took part in an Italian course for foreigners - advanced level - at the Accademia Italiana, in Ascoli. During the lessons which lasted for two weeks, we studied various topics, from the culture and traditions of the Bel Paese to rather deep and complicated linguistic subjects. I would like to emphasize the level of professional preparation of the Academy's teachers and their individual approach towards each student. I attended many other schools in Italy but the experience I had in Ascoli Piceno was different from the previous ones and definitely the best! Not being too crowded, the city attracts with its architectural features, picturesque landscapes in the surroundings and offers a chance to go to the seaside in just thirty minutes. Here we want to come again!
