Excellent experience - One-hour tour for hen parties including a bottle of prosecco. Great availability of service, Mauro excellent captain with pleasant explanations. Boat in excellent condition and very spacious.

Awesome Experience - Our family was walking around Bellagio looking for a boat tour service. We asked around, the private taxis were small and expensive. The tours were on large boats with a lot of people. And then, we ran into Mauro M. who was standing at the counter of Bellagio Boat Service. We had a good chat with him. He is a mild mannered guy who patiently explained to us various options for taking the tour of the lake. We chose a private tour. It was much cheaper than private taxi and the boat was really big (for us and our two teenager boys). It turned out that Mauro was the captain of the provate boat. He took us around the late, explaining history of the town and the villas. He even took our request to park the boat next to Villa del Balbianello for us to take pictures. Additionally, he was not much stickler for time. He gave us way more time than we paid for. Overall - a great experience. Highly recommend them.

Good Tour Guide, Smaller Crowds if Rainy Day - We visited Lake Como on July 3, which ended up being a rainy day. I was concerned the boat would be canceled, but it worked out in our favor. Instead of there being 75+ people on board, it was a smaller tour of 20 or less people. Therefore, there were plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the cloudy views. The tour guide did a great job of explaining the different villas and the history of the lake. It was a great way to rest our legs and get a different view of the Lake and villas. I would do this again. You are able to disembark at Tremezzina to see Villa Carlotta and return on the ferry on your own. I thought this was really cool!

Cost Effective but Read Up on the Villas before you go - Cost effective way to boat past the key villas of lake como. Boat was clean and spacious and the staff were courteous. However only commentary was the guide saying the name of the villas as we came upon them. Suggest that some storylines behind the scenery would be a great and cheap value add by the tour company. Also recommend that they set up someone selling cold drinks out of an esky - they would make a killing in the summer months. So remember to bring your own 😀

Disaster - Despite the deplorable weather with heavy rain and zero visibility from cloud cover this tour proceeded. Additionally, there was a huge rope flung over the entrance by a step down into the covered section of the boat. The man in front of me tripped and lost his balance which alerted me to the danger. Total negligence on the part of the tour operator. I have taken loads of Viator tours across Europe but this trip did not come close to meeting its standards. Very disappointing experience to say the least.

Terrible incompetence, scam. - DON'T USE. Had a 2 hour private boat trip scheduled and they said if it rains/storms they'll cancel it. We had torrential downpours and so we called and rescheduled for the next day. Everything seemed fine as they sent us a confirmation the next morning however they then said they waited for us the previous day and wouldn't take us out or refund us our money. We even showed them the communication and confirmation number and the vast incompetence continued, and no boat ride. Steer clear and use a different service.

Would leave zero stars if possible - Booked a four hour tour for 400 euros and were told they would reschedule in case of bad weather. When the time for the tour came, there was a severe rain and thunderstorm warning with torrential downpour. We tried to communicate with them to understand whether we could reschedule or not and they hung up on us twice. They eventually confirmed a reschedule for the next day but when we arrived they told us we couldn’t have the tour and they would not refund us despite having email confirmation that we were rescheduled to that day. Absolutely would not recommend

Scam! Read the google reviews! - Scam! Will take your $400 and run - read the google reviews - hangs up on you, doesn’t reply to emails, or texts! We had bad weather and confirmed a new time/date - with confirmation from bellagio boat service and they stood us up with no refund.

Scam!!! Do not book this! - Showed up for what we thought was a private 1 hour boat ride and ended up being a 50 person group tour. We did not get on. The reviews were misleading. There is no accountability either. I never write reviews but this was nonsense.
