This one! Stop scrolling now! Wonderful tour Bellagio Varenna and Bellano - Pick this tour!!!!!!!!!
This was the best experience. Oleg was a fantastic tour guide , very knowledgeable and kind. He had detailed and video instructions he sent to guide us to the precise meeting location at the train station. Train ride was about an hour. Side note- a couple days prior to our tour Oleg notified us that the minimum number of people for the tour was not met- so offered a full refund, a rebooking on a similar tour a different day- or upgrading to a private tour for an additional fee. Since we had limited time in Milan- we opted for private tour which was well worth it. Oleg has a wealth of knowledge of the area of Milan/ lake como and everything between (and beyond!
He had some great and- appropriate toys to keep my 9 year old daughter busy during the train and ferry rides.
Tour started with a 1 hour train ride from Milan to Varenna. This town is so beautiful and quaint. Many places closed because of winter/off season but you counter than with so much less crowded. We then had ferry ride to Bellagio (Oleg takes care of all tickets, schedules etc). He gave us a quick tour of the area and then free time to enjoy lunch, exploring, etc. then ferry ride to Bellano- which is different than most tours. A very small beautiful town, no crowds at all. And a gorgeous walk through the gorge with picturesque waterfalls and the clearest blue water. Such a unique experience!
Plenty of time to enjoy a cappuccino, glass of wine, and explore. We did not feel bored nor rushed at all.
I would strongly recommend this tour!

BEST Tour of Lake Como (Varenna, Bellagio & Bellano) - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :) - This tour (Milan -> Varenna -> Bellagio -> Bellano -> Milan) was possibly the best part of my trip to Italy. Straight off, I chose this tour for 3 main reasons:
1. The tour transportation involved Trains and Ferries (and avoided buses, which was my main objective)
2. The tour was fairly a small group with just the right number of people to be able to enjoy it
3. The tour included Bellano as part of the itinerary, which I did not find on any other tours across multiple tour booking platforms.
Right from the beginning, the communication with the tour company was seamless and convenient. The fact that the company contacted over WhatsApp a day before and even shared a quick YouTube video of the meeting point was extremely helpful. It was at that moment that I first realised I chose the right tour with the right company.
Our journey started from Milano Centrale where I met Oleg (our tour guide) and other tour participants. From the get go, Oleg was super friendly and welcoming. Throughout the entire tour, he made sure to interact with everyone, answered all questions with a smile and shared some really good travel advice and insights. His passion to share information about the villages we went to and his recommendations on restaurants + places to visit during free time were spot on. He organised the ferry rides with utmost ease for all participants and took care of us very well.
Regarding the tour itself, we were able to cover the best of spots in Lake Como with our expert guide very easily. The highlight of this tour was definitely the Bellano Gorge – an absolutely beautiful place that I would have not visited on my own and want to thank the company for having it included. No other tour company has it and I think Abroads Tours knows what they’re doing.
In a nutshell, if you’re looking to explore some sights in Lake Como, want super convenient travel options with an amazing tour guide, ample free time to explore things on your own – think no more and book this one. I am glad I had to chance to experience this and will book again with the tour company whenever I visit Italy next. Thank you to Oleg, for making this experience I will cherish for a long time.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED – go for it, you won’t be disappointed.

Lake How, Bellagio, Varenna and Bellano Throat, to walk and enjoy without rush and without crowds - We went with a small group and visited non-tourist and tourist places as well, it is comfortable because you have ample free time, and you are doing the itinerary without rush.
The train journey was super comfortable and the guide is telling you what you see. And except at the train station, we generally avoid crowds.
As far as we know it is the only tour to Bellano's Gorge, which ended up being a pleasant surprise and something different.
Highly recommended, the guide deserves a separate recommendation, for the good.
Summary: ideal to meet, and walk in a relaxed way.

Perfect Tour - This tour was absolutely fantastic! We loved the well-planned itinerary, which took us to Bellagio and the stunning Bellano Gorge—a hidden gem that most tours don’t include. Unlike other crowded tours, this one was small-group and focused on not-so-touristy places, making it a much more enjoyable and immersive experience.
Our guide, Oleg, was simply amazing, accommodating, knowledgeable, and always ensuring we were comfortable. He provided ample free time, so we never felt rushed, and the comfortable train rides made traveling between destinations effortless. Communication with the tour company was seamless and easy, making the entire experience stress-free.
If you’re looking for a unique, well-paced tour that helps you avoid the crowds while still exploring breathtaking locations, this is the one to book. Highly recommended!

Oleg was a wonderful... - Oleg was a wonderful guide! Was totally perfect even in February weather which was slightly cold and windy. Got to see a lot and everything was well planned, including a nice visit to the gorge. Definitely recommend!

Naif - It was really great trip with our guide Oleg with a small group of 11 people. This was the only trip we found to do a tour in bellona which is not a touristy place yet so there was no crowds in there but we had amazing time in there with the waterfall view. the transportation was comfortable and everything was on time

The best tour with the best guide - Many thanks to Oleg for an exciting tour of Lake Como!!! He really managed to make our trip original and unforgettable! We learned a lot of new interesting facts, enjoyed amazing views and got wonderful emotions and impressions.
