MAGICAL EXPERIENCE, ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED. - Our experience can be called Fantastic! Roberto and his family are people who if they were not there would have to be invented. Perfect organization: the treasure hunt through the streets of Civita involved, interested and entertained young and old; we had lunch with excellent lasagna and spectacular meatballs in a location that had magic, welcomed with sincere hospitality. Roberto is super competent, super communicative, super engaging, super self-aware and brings with him a wealth of history, tradition and love for nature and the territory, really commendable. I absolutely recommend a day with them.

A genuine relationship between man and nature - I didn’t know what to expect from this experience and in the end I came out deeply enriched. Pietro, despite being very young, is an attentive and prepared Pro, excellent storyteller and respectful of the times and personality of the guest. He knows how to communicate his clear passion for the territory and in particular the local fauna. The walk in which he accompanied me is suitable for everyone and made even more interesting by his explanations and anecdotes. The lunch included in the experience turned out to be very pleasant and above all plentiful! Recommendation to come with hunger. Roberto then took care of the second part of the experience, supported by Pietro, his son. I found Roberto's exposition honest and genuine, which I can imagine may be perceived as controversial for some, but personally I found it deeply educational and stimulated my curiosity in wanting to deepen the subject of falconry. I do not know if Roberto is fully aware of his narrative qualities, but I perceived the explanatory path he conceived as genuine, concrete to compelling. I do not anticipate anything but on the last narration I was moved. All set in a practical and efficient context, surrounded by beautiful nature. I sensed not only the collaboration of the whole family with the animals present (not only birds) but also honest attention to the host. Perhaps because I too am a mountaineer, albeit from the Dolomites, I found myself in tune with the messages of Pietro and Roberto who live the relationship between man and nature not as in a Disney film but mutual respect and collaboration. My Recommendation is to let you guide and get involved: try to see the themes treated with the perhaps utopian and passionate eyes of Robert and Peter. Whatever idea you eventually take home, you'll be enriched.

Not just Falconry... - Roberto is practically a subsidiary, an endless container of information, culture, history and legends. Like a river in flood flood floods you with knowledge and stories always well defined and relevant to the path that leads to visit. A visionary who loves what he does and makes it clear only with his eyes. Beautiful stories about Civita and the discoveries that he places in the eyes of his guests, exquisite lasagna of his wife who offers his guests and then there are his birds of prey. The love he shows and tells is palpable, and then the respect and attention he devotes to birds is something indescribable. A project that goes beyond profit, beyond work; his is an idea of spreading beauty, protecting the environment and a desire to pass on to the new generations a better world. Recommended activity for all young and old that will leave your mind richer and smile at the end of the day.

Special experience in Civita - With a last minute reservation, my husband and I experienced a beautiful day in Civita in the company of Roberto and his family. Guided tour of the village of Civita, with an interactive story of the history of the Albanian and Cassano communities in the area; myths, legends and history about the devil's bridge, the famous "talking houses" and the town warehouse. The experience with the birds of prey that Roberto and his family take care of is fantastic: you can sense a great love and respect for the animals, which they look after every day with great dedication. The wife was very nice and kindly prepared a delicious lunch for us. We'll be back

TOP OF THE TOP! ✨❤️ - Civita is an enchanting town, full of history, culture and breathtaking natural assets. Roberto and his son Pietro were spectacular in involving us in this magnificent experience. With Roberto and Pietro telling the story lived by these people, during the siege of the Turks, what the Magazeno was and how it was used during the management of Skanderbeg's niece, the conflicts that existed between them and the people of Cassano, etc. ., we really identified with the Arbëreshë. Also wonderful are the legends behind the Devil's Bridge, the talking houses and the 56 particular chimneys of the other houses in the village. Exquisite welcome and perfect lunch cooked by Roberto's wife. Very nice family, welcoming and full of culture and love for their country. The birds of prey experience was a dream. Roberto showed us his creatures up close and told us some very interesting things about them and how he looks after them and protects them with so much love, passion and tenacity! You are spectacular! If there had been more than 5 stars, I would have gladly given them. Thank you so much for everything for this wonderful experience. We will also bring our friends to do the other excursions!! ❤️❤️

Magical. I was left speechless. - What can I say, a unique, magical and sensational experience. We explored the village of Civita thanks to the guidance of Roberto and his son Pietro. Thanks to them I got to know the history of Civita in depth. The lunch was impeccable and delicious. Wonderful experience in the end with the birds of prey and their wild and at the same time delicate world. I highly recommend this experience both to those who, like me, belong to the Calabrian area and to those coming from outside! I would like to give 10 stars and not 5 and I would like to thank Roberto, children and wife again. You are fantastic! We will definitely be back!!
