Highlights
  • Monterosso al Mare - The northernmost village of the Cinque Terre is Monterosso, which is divided into two sides: the historic center and the “new” side called Fegina, with a pedestrian tunnel that connects the two. Monterosso is larger than the other towns and is the only one that offers beach services, making it the most visited of the Cinque Terre.
  • Vernazza - Vernazza the smallest of the Cinque Terre, and commonly known as the most fascinating with a beautiful marina and the Church of Santa Margherita d’Antiochia which stands right on the water. Here you will also see the Torre del Belforte which sits right on the harbor as a protective lighthouse for the small village.
  • Corniglia - Corniglia: lying 100 meters high on a cliff, Corniglia is the only one of the towns without a port and has a panoramic terrace from which you can see Manarola and Riomaggiore to the south and Vernazza and Monterosso to the north.
  • Manarola - Manarola: is located at the other end of the Via del Amore and is part of the municipality of Riomaggiore. Known for its wine production, Manarola produces the only dessert wine called Sciacchetrà found only in this area.
  • Riomaggiore - While we continue to sail along the coast of the Cinque Terre villages, we meet Riomaggiore. With brightly colored houses built vertically on the surrounding hills, Riomaggiore is the second largest of the five towns and is widely known for excellent diving spots off its coast in the marine protected area that stretches all along the Cinque Terre. Here you will also see where the famous Via del Amore pedestrian path begins, leading to nearby Manarola.

Amazing experience. - Simone was a great host and very knowledgeable of Cinque terre. He took us to a few caves which was awesome because I have never swam in one. Everything was awesome and I would highly recommend this tour. Just note that this service doesn’t provide pool tubes or noodles so you’ll have to bring your own.

Wonderful tour of the beautiful Cinque Terre! - Simone was the best host for an amazing tour of the beautiful Cinque Terre. He provides a great balance of relaxing, swimming, and information about each town. We have to mention the most delicious pesto we have ever tasted, homemade by Simone's mother, which went perfectly with fresh foccacia. Thank you for a fantastic afternoon. Highly recommend.

Best experience of our holiday! - This was a highlight of our 4 week family holiday. Simone was a wonderful host sharing his local knowledge of the region and even fed us fresh focaccia and his mother’s sublime homemade pesto! We stopped at beautiful secluded spots to jump off the boat and swim, it was just spectacular! There is nothing quite like seeing this stunning region by sea and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect tour.

Awesome day at Cinque Terre - A great time, swimming sunshine, music & the foccacia pesto was the best we’ve ever had. Simone was a fantastic host explaining things and finding some great spots for duos in the water. A brilliant day for my birthday with family!

Fun trip to Gulf of Poets - We were originally booked for a tour of the Cinque Terre coastline but were notified the day before that sea conditions would not be good. We were offered a couple of back up options and we went with the Gulf of Poets outside of La Spezia. Simone was a great guide—extremely friendly and shared good information about the history of the area. The sea got a little choppy and he kindly adapted the tour on the fly. Highly recommend both he and the company.

This is the way - This feels like the absolute best way to see the Cinque Terre. In three hours we saw all of the towns from the boat, which gave us so many views which would have been impossible from a visit on foot. Simone was a great guide and capable captain. And the pesto and focaccia treat were incredible. Thank you Simone!

Our excursion was cancelled - You would think your system would be smart enough to not send a email about an excursion that was cancelled. I understand weather happens, but other boats continued to operate and you should have a back up plan to offer for people to still see what they paid for. We came on this trip to come to Cinque Terre and got to see nothing.
