Looking to learn how to distinguish high-quality extra virgin olive oil? This is the perfect tour for you!
You’ll explore centuries-old olive groves and understand the difference between organic and traditional agricultural practices. Next, participate in a private guided tasting to discern the unique characteristics of authentic Umbrian ‘green gold’ from mass-produced olive oils. In addition to the olive oil tasting, you’ll sample several organic wines (at least five) produced by Tili winery, accompanied by warm bruschette, a variety of local cheeses and salamis, and homemade Umbrian biscotti.
Upon request, we can arrange transportation to and from local hotels or the city center of Assisi at a set rate.
- Our staff will lead the activity wearing personal protective equipment

A real treat! - We had a WONDERFUL time learning about the family, the olive oil business, and their winery. Maria was so nice, and passionate to insure we all had the very best experience!

A family-run winery worth visiting! - Very nice experience at this family run winery. Host explained the way they produce wine followed by a wine tasting session really well.

Like in paradise - As a birthday present for my partner, I had decided to give him a tasting of organic oil and wine with local products... and what can I say, it was like being in paradise, a 100% successful surprise!!!
The location seems like an oasis of peace!
We were welcomed by the owner of the house, with a big smile, a lot of kindness and a hug... who accompanied us on a tour among the olive trees and passed on all her love and knowledge, for what the whole family does every day, to create quality and organic products!! Fundamental for our health and everything around us!
We were also welcomed by some wonderful little dogs...also super hospitable and full of love, who won us over with our eyes closed!
The experience of tasting the oil was truly pleasant, we learned to recognize Quality!! Which is fundamental for an irreplaceable product like oil... I recommend it must be a Mr. Oil! Never take it for granted, especially for all the properties it gives us!
Then we moved on to the wine....and I have to say Wow what a wine!!!!!! 5 glasses 5 emotions! Accompanied by local products that will leave you speechless!
Lastly... given the occasion, we were also captivated by a fig tart, kindly offered... as the icing on the cake!
Wow thank you so much, I highly recommend "L'Esperienza" and this 5 star family business!

A great experience - Maria and her family were as knowledgeable as they were entertaining. The olive oil, wine, and balsamic tastings were very educational. Overall a very enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend.

Tasting, Learning and Relaxing in a Beautiful Setting - We very much enjoyed our time at the beautiful Tili Vini Società Agricola. Maria and her daughter were fun and engaging hosts / teachers. We learned a great deal from our tastings of both delicious olive oil and wines. Special thanks to them for baking awesome, home-made, gluten-free bread and biscotti for the person in our group who had that dietary need.
We very much recommended this tour to others!

Wonderful experience! - We did a combination of olive oil tasting and wine tasting. We started with a tour of the olive tree grove, and then learned about how the olive oil is made. We sampled both their olive oil and four of their wines. All were amazing! It was a wonderful experience, one which we would highly recommend.

Beautiful location, and delicious oils and wine - We had a lovely time with Maria and Annalaura. We toured the olive groves and learned how olive oil was made, and then tasted different oils and wines. The property is lovely, and the products are delicious — their oil and wine were the only things I shipped home out of all the tastings and tours we did.

Delightful experience! - Maria and AnnaLaurel are charming, wonderful hosts. Maria took us walking through the olive trees, telling us about her 4 generations of family history with this farm. She showed us the different types of olives and the oldest tree in the orchard. We then watched a family documentary showing us the entire process they go through to make olive oil. We then had the pleasure of eating this delicious oil with Tuscan bread, cheese and salumi. They shared several of the wines they also produce, which were all excellent. We had the privilege of spending time talking with both of them and learning more about life in Italy. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our afternoon with the Tili family and farm. I highly recommend this experience.
