- Spargi - Pause at one of the stunning bays on the island of Spargi, the first stop in the Maddalena Archipelago. Here, you can snorkel and swim in the crystal-clear, turquoise waters, making your way to the island’s beautiful white beaches.
- Spiaggia Rosa - We’ll capture photos in front of one of the world’s most enchanting and protected beaches: the renowned Pink Beach, a spectacular natural wonder. Part of the Maddalena Geomarine National Park, this beach is of immense naturalistic value and is under special protection, prohibiting walking on the sand or swimming at its shore. Located just north of Spargi, the island is famous for its legendary pink beach. The coral-colored sand, vibrant sea hues, and the granite formations surrounding the cove create a unique global spectacle, a natural monument to be admired in reverent silence.
The Pink Beach of Budelli, immortalized by director Michelangelo Antonioni in a lengthy sequence in the film “Red Desert,” is situated southeast of Budelli Island in the La Maddalena Archipelago. It is named for its distinctive coral pink color.
- Porto della Madonna - The Port of the Madonna, or Manto della Madonna, is in the northern part of the archipelago, nestled between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli, and Santa Maria. It features a stunning expanse of crystalline water, resembling a natural swimming pool, dotted with small beaches of fine white sand facing a clear, transparent sea. Some coves allow swimming, while others are off-limits to preserve this unique natural wonder.
- Parco Nazionale dell’Arcipelago di La Maddalena - Razzoli and Santa Maria
These islands are nearly connected by the Passo degli Asinelli. Razzoli Island, the northernmost, is notable for its majestic cliffs and rock formations reminiscent of Moore’s sculptures. The island boasts a beautiful beach, Cala S. Maria, one of the largest in the archipelago.
Port Madonna
This is the name given to the emerald sea lagoon enclosed between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli, and S. Maria. It is undoubtedly the most evocative spot in the Park and a popular destination for boaters in northeastern Sardinia. In this extraordinary body of water, the Park has designated large areas for snorkeling and sea-watching activities.
