Great time! - We had a great time with family, accompanied by 7 other participants (English speakers). Thank you to Irene and her son for their welcome and hospitality. We were able to taste the pasta made by us on the outdoor terrace in the Sardinian countryside in an excellent atmosphere. We recommend!

Very professionally run and a fantastic evening, highly recommended - Once we found the farmhouse, which really is in the middle of the countryside (use the location that the host shares with you to find it), we were greeted with enthusiasm and joined our group (10 people). We were shown how to make the dough and then tagliatelle and ravioli. Whilst the dough rested we also experimented making different shaped pasta. Afterwards we sat outside to feast on our efforts and other wonderful courses alongside our pasta making friends. Absolutely lovely evening, very professionally run and highly recommended!

Just a wonderful experience! - This was a fantastic experience. Irene was a great teacher for the group (13 people) and we learnt some of the secrets of good pasta. It was hands on which really helped the learning. We then had a full meal with pasta, wine etc. For us, it was a real highlight of our 7 week trip to Italy.

Fantastic evening, great food, lovely wine and good company amongst new found friends - Thank you Irene and Gabriele for a fabulous evening.
The location was simply amazing.
We loved the pasta-making class (hope to buy a pasta machine when we get home) - Irene, you are a very patient and kind teacher.
The meal served afterwards was superb - well done Gabriele, both the pasta and the sauces were top class. It was fascinating to learn about the many local ingredients used when creating the dishes.
Finally, the other participants helped make the night really special - we enjoyed listening to each others stories, over some nice local wines.
We highly recommend a visit if you are in the area on holidays - the whole package is well worth the price.

Amazing Sardinian Cooking Class - This was a fabulous Sardinian countryside home cooking class experience. Irene and her son Gabriele were incredibly welcoming. We learned how to make various types of pasta and received fantastic tips and tricks. After the pasta-making session, we relaxed with other travelers, enjoyed local wine, and savored delicious nibbles. The meal began with ravioli, followed by the tagliatelle we had prepared earlier, and finished with dessert. It was such a fun night. We highly recommend adding this experience to your itinerary.

Unspoilt, not very developed and hope you like Fish ! - Lovely island with amazing coastline, beaches and swimming areas. Hotels are generally basic and cater for mostly the Italian mainland tourist market. As a result a lot of places don’t speak English and need hall from younger staff who would have learned English in school. I’ve never seen a tourist location where you have to ‘book your place on a beach the night beforehand’ either !?! .. beaches in the north east of the island have an entry system manned by a guy with a barrier & you need to have a ticket booked previously before you’re allowed on the beach ?? Luckily our hotel had a private beach but we still need to pay for sun brolly and beds.
You would also need to like fish a LOT ! Most restaurants only served fish dishes with the most expensive dishes being sea bass, lobster etc the food there is crazy expensive and eating out in restaurants each evening can really kill your budget. For some reason chicken never appeared on any menu !?! We never saw your standard burger or steak options. So strangely enough, after 10days of being on holidays we actually had lost weight by the time we got home !?!! .. a good thing ? 🤔
Renting a car is as risky as the mainland Italy. Yes, the drivers are really bad ( everyone of them drives in the centre of the road & ignore continuous white lines ) but I’m talking about the Rental car companies. We’ve rented cars in Italy mainland and Sardinia is no exception .. they will try to fleece you at any opportunity ! So take plenty of videos as evidence when you pick up the car & get video evidence of the agent telling you that as was well with your car when you return it. Drivers in Sardinia don’t indicate and have a habit of ‘clinging to your back bumper’ as you drive .. so be careful !
Overall, a lovely island .. definitely 80-90% Italian holiday tourists with very little English/european tourists. As a result it does have that ‘unspoilt’ feel about it in some places, which is nice & something you don’t get a lot these days.
It is hot in July 31-34C and also very humid, but the breeze off the sea during the day is lovely. The only excursion possibilities are boat trips. We took one and it was amazing .. but once that’s done there’s not much else to do but lounge on the beach.

Skip — better options - Food was good but it felt like our instructor was rushed and made us feel like we were bothering her rather than being open to teaching us. Also, she said she would send us recipes but never did. I took a different cooking class I found on Airbnb near Telti and it was SO MUCH better and the instructor was significantly kinder and shared more on the history of pasta.
