Brunello and Culinary Experience - Morning culinary class with a scenic view, followed by a Brunello wine-paired lunch!
Under the expert guidance of Alexandra, our professional chef, you will prepare traditional Tuscan cuisine using the delightful local ingredients. Following this, you can appreciate a private exploration of our vineyards and 15th century castle, a treasure held within the family for the past 17 generations.
Relish in the lunch you’ve prepared on our scenic terrace that provides breathtaking views of the undulating landscapes of Montalcino’s wine region. Each course is thoughtfully accompanied with our house wine.

What a fabulous day! - What a lovely day! The cooking class and vineyard tour were a wonderful break from touring sites. The setting was beautiful, and Alexandra ran an entertaining and informative class, not to mention tasty! She did a great job at working with everyone in the group and explaining everything clearly. It was lighthearted and fun.
Niccolò transported us from Siena, which we so appreciated. He found something in the van that one of my friends left and thoughtfully let us know.
The whole day was a really relaxing experience. Having lunch after the class felt a little decadent. The food, the setting, the wine. My only advice would be to pour the Brunello a little more generously. That said, there was ample wine throughout.

Awesome Experience! - This was the highlight of our trip to Italy! The cooking class was awesome, the wine was delicious, and the views were amazing. We had a group of 7 and all of us said the food was the best we had while in Italy.

Great Brunello. Great food. Great people. - My husband and I had a fantastic day visiting Castello Tricerchi, tasting delicious wines and cooking with Alexandra. Even though I looovvee wine, the cooking and eating really made the day. The kitchen is cozy and has an incredible view of vineyards and the rolling hills of Tuscany. We made 2 kinds of pasta and tiramisu. Alexandra was a great teacher and very fun to spend the afternoon with. We will be sure to practice our new culinary skills once we get home. I urge you to book this very intimate and fun experience.

Beautiful views and food - The best Cooking Class Possible! - We took this tour and cooking class with 'Tours of Tuscany' and our entire group agreed it was a top moment of our entire Italy trip! The property where you take the class is one of a kind; a historic building and winery in the heart of the Brunello di Montalcino region. We had a nice tour of the property and the wine cellar which was a great introduction to the region. The cooking class itself was a perfect experience. The chef, Alexandra was so friendly, personable, and made every moment fun! The food was exquisite, as we made a tuscan ragu, tagliatelle, spinach ravioli, and tiramasu. All the recipes are authentic as the owners are from the area. We not only made some delicious food but picked up some cooking tips we will take back home with us. The grand finale of the tour was a luxurious lunch on the breathtaking terrace where we got to share our creations and enjoy a whole lot of the delicious Brunello di Montalcino wine. They even offered to pick us up in a nice van and transport us from our hotel in Florence for a reasonable rate. Our driver Nicolai was friendly, professional, and made the trip even more fun! I would recommend this tour as a top priority to anyone visiting northern Italy!

Amazing, and perfect for families! - We traveled to Italy with close family friends, and the group of us included 4 adults and 3 kids (ages 6, 8, and 10). We had a wonderful experience cooking with Alexandra - she engaged the kids and made them feel included and special throughout the process. Everyone loved the food and the adults especially loved the wine pairings and the incredible views of the property. The teaching and food was so great that we’ve made the dishes again at home. Thank you for the hospitality!

Best cooking class in the heart of Siena! - This was the highlight of our trip to Siena! It was extremely organized and a ton of fun! Our chef, Alexandra made everything fun and helped us prepare the most delicious lunch! She kept our teenage kids engaged and interested! Beautiful views, awesome wines and amazing food! 200% recommend this!

Exceptional day in Tuscany - The place is beautiful. The cooking classroom adorable but the best was our cooking instructor. She was funny, kind, great at providing instructions and most of all made an amazing memory for our time in Tuscany. And not surprisingly, our food was actually delicious and paired with the wineries special wines. Which we bought a case to ship home. THAT GOOD! I couldn't recommend this event more highly, it was exceptional.

Wonderful cooking class in Montalcino! - This experience was a highlight of our Italy trip. Giacomo was exceptional. It was just the two of us with him in a remodeled small outbuilding at the winery. He had a great sense of humor and made us feel at ease, yet kept us on track as we made the pastas, sauces, and dessert. We had never made pasta from scratch before, and he was a patient and gifted instructor. When we sat down to eat, he paired each pasta course with wines including Brunello. The views of the vineyards and Montalcino countryside from the large picture windows was beautiful. Prior to the cooking class, we were given a tour of the Tricheri winery. The entire experience lasted about four hours. Well worth the time and cost - because of Giacomo.
