Love this experience! - We loved this tour. The winery site is about a 30 minute walk outside the city walls. Once there you are greeted with great views of the surrounding area. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The tour is very informative on what makes Vernaccia di San Gimignano so special and on what Tenuta Guardastelle does to make their wines so appealing. They do not skimp on this lunch and each dish was delicious and represented the Tuscan way. A few people had some dietary restrictions but the kitchen handled the requests without any problems. After a morning of traveling this experience was great way to enjoy the area.

Terrific Wine Tasting and Lunch Experience in the Hills below San Gimignano - Guardastelle is a beautiful small vineyard and we tasted all five of their wines - two whites and three reds. Fausto was a great host and shared lot of info about the history of grapes and wine making in the San Gimignano area along with details of the vineyard’s production. The tasting lunch was terrific as are the wines and the setting is lovely. Would highly recommend. A nice escape from the crowds in San Gimignano!

Absolutely wonderful!! - This was an absolutely amazing experience. We learned so much about the wine making process, sampled excellent wines and had an amazing lunch too. Fauzo (I believe was his name, husband and wife own it), was amazing telling the story of the winery and how it came to be, and taking us on a tour of the grape fields, the room where it’s processed etc. It is a beautiful place a kilometre from San Gimignano with amazing views!! Highly, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience - We did the wine tour with lunch and wine tasting. What a wonderful afternoon!
We had a very knowledgeable tour guide who showed us around and explained so much about the wine making process. The food and wines were all delicious. Our host kindly explained so much about the wines we tasted and it was interesting to try them paired with different foods. It felt like a luxury experience with our own table in a beautiful room. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and welcoming.
This experience was SUCH good value for money. It was also easily accessible by public transport from Siena or Florence (the 130 bus stops close by, and/or the vineyard can be reached by a very pleasant 20min walk from San Gimignano.

Wonderful! - Me and my partner did the tasting with lunch included.
Very good wines accompanied by excellent quality dishes.
Raffaella made us visit the cellar and it was very interesting but at the same time fun.
Magnificent place, it seems to be out of the world for the feeling of peace and relaxation you feel!
Recommended!
Ps: only note, given the price of the tasting, the coffee would have been nice if it had been offered!!

Top experience - Beautiful experience within this lovely well managed estate.
Private visit (in two languages) with another American family with children made possible by the great ability of the manager, who speaks perfect English and shows great passion for his work.
Visit to the vineyard, the cellar and final lunch on a charming terrace with tasting of their excellent wines.

An amazing experience - This is truly amazing experience. Staff is lovely. The lady who gave us a tour was just brilliant. Very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about wine and wine production. Food and wines were great. No big crowds. Nice, almost private, vip experience. Recommend to everyone
