Food culture plays a significant role in Tuscany’s heritage, and it significantly enriches one’s travel experience to this region. Our journey will take us to an organic farm located in the heart of the prestigious Chianti Classico area. It is a typical farmhouse that has been home to a Tuscan family for many generations. The farm, with its vineyards, olive groves, flowers, and vegetable gardens, creates a picturesque setting. Here, we will get our hands dirty and begin preparing our own meals. Guided by a local Tuscan woman, we’ll discover the traditional culinary secrets and cooking techniques of the region. There’s no doubt we’ll succeed in our cooking endeavours. Our starters will include items like bruschetta and crostini, as well as various cured meats, cheeses, and accompaniments such as honeys and jams. We’ll also delve into the captivating world of pasta, even making our own fresh pasta from scratch the old-fashioned way, using a wooden rolling pin!
