Fantastic experience don’t pass this up - This was an amazing experience, and we would highly recommend it. We didn’t know what to expect of a farm tour. They were wonderful hosts and the lunch was absolutely delicious: started with homemade wine and mixed bruschetta, then Tuscan soup, aged meats, pecorino from Pienza, biscotti and dessert liquor. We took the tour with a couple from the UK who came back to do the tour again because they loved the wine and experience so much.

Great family outing - This was a unique, one of a kind visit to a beautiful farm. Roberto does a great job explaining his farm. We walked through his olive orchard & visited his big & small pigs. The little ones were like puppies. This would be perfect for a family visit.

A Slice of Heaven - This farm visit was such a treat! We loved meeting Roberto and his sweet pigs and seeing the little slice of heaven that is family has with this farm. The lunch provided was delicious and we took our time enjoying it and the view and Roberto’s wine that was made with the grapes grown on his land. We loved every minute of our time there and would go again in a heartbeat. This was a great way to see the Tuscan countryside and experience authentic Tuscany. Highly recommend!

The number 1 tour in Tuscany. - The experience was unforgettable! Roberto was an absolute gentleman and he made our day amazing. He started off by showing us his small vineyard and his olive orchard. He explained some of his process and told us about the history of his land and business. Then he showed us his pigs which of course was the highlight. We met his two male breeding pigs, his sows, and then he introduced us to his favorite pig named “Runt”. He explained the maturation process, the reproductive cycle, and how he operates his pig farm. It was a great experience and we got lots of time to give his pigs scratches and to see them run around. Afterwards we saw his amazing collection of different meats that he produces at the farm. I was shocked at how many he had and how good it smelled in the store. I was in hog heaven (pun intended). Afterwards he took us out to his little patio and gave us a great lunch. I know the posting says a “light lunch” but my wife and I left stuffed. We had wine, bruschetta with liver pâté and tomatoes, a big board of different meats and cheeses, and what I can best describe as “Italian stuffing” which was a mixture of breadcrumbs soaked in oil and vinegar mixed with fresh vegetables. We also had a dessert of biscotti and sweet wine to dip it in. The entire time Roberto answered our questions, gave me tips on Italian which I’ve been making an effort to improve, and did everything in his power to make the stay a good one. We never felt rushed out and he made us feel immensely welcomed.

Authentic and fun! - What a unique experience! We had a great time meeting Roberto and the pigs. Who knew pigs were so friendly? We were so happy to meet Ciro the sire of the group and several little piglets. After our tour and multiple pictures we sat down to a nice lunch sourced from Roberto's pigs. So fresh and so delicious. He explained the various meats and their origins from the pig so now we know exactly what we like. This was followed by delicious cheese and dessert all served with wine made by his father in law. The wine was excellent too! It's a bit off the beaten path which to us, made it even better. It's not your typical tour at all but if you want to see the life of a Tuscan farmer, you will love it.
