During 8km long trip you will see lot of birds eg. little grebe, ducks… Native fish in the river is trout, Gacka is homeland of big trouts up to 70 centimeters long, but they are wild fishes and most of the time hidding in the underwater grass. There is variety of river flora. This family friendly river is very convenient and easy to paddle even in summer time because there is always enough water, and on some places depth is up to 10m. River is wide 15m. Current is slow. Welcome to our transparent kayak adventure.

The transparent kayak offers an exclusive opportunity to paddle across the Gacka River and venture into its deep views. Your 3 hour self-led journey on the Gacka river comes with kayak rental, equipment, directions, and map. Appreciate the exquisite sceneries as you navigate about five miles (8km) along the river. We will retrieve you at the conclusion and bring you back to your vehicle. The pickup service is encompassed in the cost.

Very professional company - great experience - We have 3 kids 7-10 years old, and have a decent amount of kayaking experience and did the self guided tour, which was very simple and well-equipped. The staff were really professional and friendly, and the price was very fair. It was a beautiful and tranquil experience, surrounded by nature and very few paddlers on the river with us. We also did kayaking on the Zrmanja, which had rapids and was a very different experience, but we really enjoyed both. I would highly recommend this company, if you are in the area.

Great experience! - Great and unique experience. Our first time ever kayaking so was a little uneasy but the hosts were very welcoming and nice. Wasn’t overcrowded, nice and quiet and relaxing. Would 100% recommend.

Transparent kayaks - The transparant kajaks are really recommended since the water super clear and there are many different plants to admire in the shallow waters. Just don’t go in the middle of the dat because there js absolutely no shade except for the 3 bridges you’ll pas in the 2,5 hours.The host is very helpful and funny and was helpful beyond necessary, he recommended a restaurant (Boomerang) that was really nice and we spotted him eating there later as well. P.S. the price for the kajaks is cheaper if you pay directly to the host instead of through Tripadvisor ;)
