Amazing tour - We got to go all around Faial and see how beautiful this island is. Ramiro was very knowledgeable about everything on the island and all the history (his English is very good too). He took lots of time with us and he exceeded our expectations. I will highly recommend this tour to family and friends.

The Sun and weather cooperated just enough for us and Ramiro - Ramiro picked us up promptly at our hotel in Horta and could not have asked for a better guide of Faial! We saw all the highlights in his half-day program and had a great conversation about travels, Faial and the Azores in general. Could not recommend Ramiro more, I could say we parted as friends.

Great tour with lovely and lively person - Ramiro was an excellent guide. We didn’t rush around but got everywhere we needed to go. Learned lots about land formations, history, plants, birds plus the odd fact like there are goats in the Caldeira. Who knew? And though we didn’t see the goats I trust him. My son and I had a wonderful time.

Half day trip to Pico of guys from Slovakia - Hi guys! It was an excellent trip. Funny guide and patient even with my elderly mother who had a bit of a problem with climbing stairs and hills. I highly recommend it. In a short time you can get great experiences and a nice overview of the island.

A wonderful experience in Faial! - This tour is an excellent way to see the island of Faial! Ramiro is a fabulous guide—warm, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. My initial tour ended up being postponed due to bad weather, but Ramiro was very communicative throughout and ended up rescheduling me for the next day. Even though the weather was still unpredictable, he still ended up showing me the best highlights and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. As a solo traveler, this was a perfect way to see the island and get a local’s perspective on the Azores. All in all, a fabulous experience that I’d recommend to anyone!

Fun half day tour - I’m 14 and I went for a half day tour with my brother and my mom! We started off by going to see beautiful outlooks of the island. He told us a lot of the history!! He took us places where tourists normally don’t go. We learned that there were many volcanoes on the island & took us to see an amazing Crater. Ramiro educated us a lot! My brother and I love animals and he was so nice enough to take another road back to our hotel just to see all of these cows. He stopped the car to also take pictures! I had so much fun with Ramiro! Definitely recommend! 😊

Great Day Trip from Pico - We had a great tour of Faial on 2/11/23. The pace was relaxed, and we saw the main sites on the island. Our guide Ramiro was knowledgeable and personable answering many questions on everything to history, geology and local culture. We took the 8:15 am ferry from Madalena and had time after the tour for lunch and a leisurely stroll thru Horta. Great Day!

Amazing half day tour! - Ramiro was the perfect tour guide, independent, flexible, punctual and having grown up on Faial, he has impeccable local knowledge. Ramiro really cares about Faial and the Azores and his passion for his home shines through. We thoroughly enjoyed our half day tour & regret not booking the full day. Cannot recommend Ramiro enough and when (not if!) we return to Faial we will contact him for another tour.

Great tour! Sadly poor weather but Ramiro mad the best of it! - The driver was very and knowledgeable and friendly! Ramiro was and amazing tour guide! Our weather was unfortunate but he mad it great!
