Albufeira - Meeting point and departure for the tour.
From Albufeira we will leave for the tour, we will find the traditional Algarvian houses. On the way we will see irrigation systems used by the former farmers of the Algarve and many of them still from Roman times. - Paderne Castle - Visit the castle from medieval times, the castle of Paderne is one of the castles of the Portuguese national flag. Castle from the Moorish period, when the Arabs still ruled the Algarve. In this place we will enjoy the beauty around. (Interior of the castle it is only possible to visit when the municipality opens to the public)
- Moinho do Leitão - Visit to Moinho do Leitão, one of the few in the Algarve. (visit inside on morning or weekend tours)
- Paderne - View the village of Paderne, traditional Algarve village. In the village of Paderne we will also make a brief visit to the local commerce, we can see its Church and regional architecture.
- Fonte Grande - Stop at the Alte fountains where we can enjoy the wonderful space and dive into the crystal clear waters. Old place with water sources. (Place to dive in water when there is water)
- Alte - Visit the village of Alte where we can visit a traditional Algarvian village and its regional beauty. Local with local commerce, where we can see the Algarvian regional products.
- Pico Alto - Visit to the mountains of the Algarve interior, where we can enjoy the view of the Algarve mountains. Passing through large fruit plantations.

We commence our adventure by picking you up from your accommodation in Albufeira, setting off on a safari journey through the natural beauty and hilly terrain of Algarve. Embark on a thrilling expedition in an open-top jeep (equipped with a roof in case it rains). The tour comprises offbeat tracks, breathtaking vistas, region-specific architectural brilliance, medieval structures, quaint villages, and natural springs inviting you to take a refreshing dip. The trip also incorporates visits to local artisans displaying regional yields like liqueurs, honey and preserves.Off-road exploration reveals vast fruit farms with tiny brooks and Roman-era water irrigation systems. Our guides will impart knowledge of our culture and surroundings, and once the tour wraps up, you can unwind back at your hotel.

Nice tour of the mountainous area of Algarve - Nice view of the non-touristy portion of Portugal. Fred was quite helpful and shared some interesting stories that we thoroughly enjoyed. Ride on the Jeep can be bumpy so be prepared for that. Overall positive experience. Views from some of the spots were incredible.

A bumpy and extremely enjoyable ride! - Fred was a fantastic tour guide/driver. He was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the Algarve. Truly one of the best tours I have been on. Definitely recommend it if you’re visiting the Algarve.

A Day to Remember - We’ve just returned from our tour and, as my 8-year old just said, “you haven’t been on holiday in the Algarve if you haven’t done this trip - 5 plus stars”. Fred was a fantastic guide - so knowledgeable about the region and its history, but also funny and friendly. He put us right at ease. Swimming in the spring water pool was fabulous and the Mountain views were stunning. We enjoyed tasting the local produce on the farm and meeting the goats. Travelling by jeep definitely allowed us to access places we wouldn’t have otherwise and made the experience that bit more special. A day to remember. Thank you!

High point of our holiday. - Well worth doing and highly recommended. Our guide Fred was fantastic, very knowledgeable and funny and was very accommodating. The ride itself is fun, the kids had a ball and you get to see a slice of the real Portugal.

Fred's the man! - What a fab time we had. Fred our guide was awesome! We learnt so much about the history of Portugal and the culture. He always checked in on us and telling us to stop if we wanted photos. The stop by for a swim was welcomed. The local shop was lovely. Could of done a full day Fred was that great. A definitely if you want to see beyond your hotel and the beauty of Portugal. Keep up the great work Fred and Co.

Jeep tour of the Algarve - What a unique and fantastic tour of the Algarve. We touched on so many things and learned so much. The kids and I loved standing up in the jeep on the backroads as well. Well worth the inexpensive price.
