The relict forest of the Quirilluca gorge brings together the most coastal town of Bellotos del Norte, a centenary tree that gives the landscape together to the huge geosite and fossils that keep this beautiful place.

The journey commences in the Horcón area, where participants will traverse a vast sclerophyll forest, gradually revealing this captivating geosite. Along the way, pelicans, vultures, foxes, chunchungos, and cururos will greet us in one of the most distinctive habitats and locations in the Valparaíso region, home to the sea otter and the North Acorn, a priority site for preservation and conservation. The tour will cover five diverse ecosystems: intertidal forest, cliffs, meadows, and sclerophylls. The excursion concludes at Quirilluca Beach, where there will be a break for lunch before heading back.
Itinerary
- 8:00 am: Hotel pickup.
