Unforgettable day, amazing - Have just done the climb to the summit of villarica with Richard and his amazing guides and can't recommend highly enough. Was in constant contact with Richard the days leading up to it to see which day would be best for climbing and he picked the perfect day. Made it to the top with no clouds and stunning views inside and outside the volcano.
The best part was possibly sliding back down on the plastic, really good fun!
All the guides were really friendly and helpful, with a nice pisco sours and food at the end, thanks so much!

Extreme and amazing experience - It was an amazing experience although we got bad weather at the top still was amazing, I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to have an extreme experience, we went up there in the beginning of summer so it was cold and snow midway up to the top so be prepared for that possibility as well but coming down it’s faster because with the snow we get to slide down with proper equipment easy to use “they will show you how to”

An Incredible Experience - The experience was very good and very safe! There were many guides with our group and at all times the guides were attentive and careful with us. Richard, Eric, Ermin and Diego are super professional and have a lot of experience in the mountains! At the end of the tour they even provide a table with snacks and drinks to celebrate! I highly recommend TerraVolcano.

Bad experience with this agency - The company steals from its customers by offering a bad service, charging higher rates than agreed and renting shabby clothes.
I don't recommend it.

Golpe / Estafa / SCAMMED - DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!
I GOT SCAMMED BY THEM!
They withhold information, deceive you about the tour, and then, under threats, force you to pay for a service they didn’t deliver, even increasing the originally agreed-upon amount. Their equipment is dirty and unhygienic, and they demonstrate a complete lack of manners, along with criminal acts of moral abuse and coercion against their clients.
The experience I had with this agency and with Richard was by far the WORST of my life. I’ve done adventure tourism worldwide and trusted many companies, but nothing—NOTHING—comes close to the utter disrespect, abuse, and rudeness I experienced with these people. I was insulted, verbally abused, and even threatened by him.
Let me explain every detail so no one else has to go through what I went through.
From the very beginning, I was deceived with incomplete and misleading information about the volcano hike. They told me I only needed to bring my backpack with water, juice, and chocolate. That’s it. I arrived thinking everything was ready, but I was handed a pre-packed backpack stuffed with absurdly heavy equipment, dirty boots, non-adjustable hiking poles, even a sled, and an ice axe that were never used—plus jackets that looked like rags. And all this without any proper guidance or prior notice about the total weight this would add to the hike. For someone small like me, the weight was simply unbearable. Even so, they forced me to carry everything and start walking. Guess what? I managed 50 meters before I had to stop because it was impossible to continue with that abusive weight. On top of that, the "guides" just rush ahead, leaving you to fend for yourself. There’s zero care, and we’re talking about a dangerous environment.
That’s when things got even worse. After barely walking 50 meters—without even starting the actual hike or reaching the park’s base—I was forced to pay the full amount. There was NOTHING in the documents I signed about fees for quitting, nor was I informed about it when I decided not to proceed (and I only stopped because of the excessive weight of the backpack). To make matters worse, the terms and conditions were only in English—as if, in CHILE, I wouldn’t have the right to a Spanish version! But the worst part was yet to come.
Richard, the person in charge, had the audacity to verbally attack me with the worst insults imaginable. Yes, he OFFENDED me, THREATENED me, and CALLED ME NAMES—some of the worst you can think of. He said he’d call the police if I didn’t pay, accused me of being a scammer (when he was the scammer!), and fabricated a list of expenses he supposedly incurred (knowing full well it was a lie). He then, unethically, cursed and insulted me in various ways. To make matters even more DESPICABLE, he said he would deduct the payment from a female employee’s salary if I didn’t pay what he wanted. It was a COWARDLY, UNJUST, and completely UNPROFESSIONAL act! Even though I explained that I didn’t complete the hike because of their failure to provide adequate conditions, they made it as difficult as possible to avoid taking people to the top of the volcano—or to profit from people quitting without doing any work. And instead of admitting their fault, they blame you, saying that if you can’t physically handle it, it’s your problem.
This is DISHONEST and UNETHICAL to the core.
This man is the worst example of a human being I’ve ever met, and this agency is a total FRAUD. They have zero respect for their clients, treating tourists as if they’re only there to be exploited. I felt robbed and extorted. I’ll never set foot in this place again because of this Chilean man. This isn’t tourism—it’s ABUSE. They prey on the fact that you’re a foreigner, playing on your insecurities and threatening you until you feel coerced into paying. I only paid because I knew he would take it out on the poor employee. Truly despicable—there’s no exaggeration here.
If you’re considering booking with this agency, RUN in the opposite direction. These positive reviews are obviously fake, because the reality is entirely different: what they offer is a terrible service with old, dirty, and unwashed equipment provided by unethical, heartless people who won’t care about their clients. Stay away and protect yourself from these people. Never in my life did I imagine I’d go through something so low and infuriating.

Amateurism and Tourist Exploration - The agency did not pass the information as it should, I made the tour of the Volcano, but we were not warned that until we reached the base we would be 4 km of forest trail! That with an old canvas suitcase, with picareta, train, and if bobear had such a heavy butterfly. The snowboots were a problem apart, dirty, detonated and impossible to walk, imagine doing a 4km trail with a boot destroying your feet and still having to climb the volcano! No chance! There was confusion with payments that could be treated more respectfully, but the name of Richard, the owner of the agency, already has a reputation for badly treating people in general, be they customers, employees or suppliers. I find such unfortunate behavior, here in Brazil he would be arrested for disrespect as calumny and defamation, but in Chile things are softened, so see right with whom you do tourism, especially be aware of taxes that charge in addition to the tour payment.
