Dehesa El Águila is a private estate situated in the Municipality of Puebla de la Reina, within the Tierra de Barros Region, nearly at the geographical center of the Province of Badajoz. Its roots lie in livestock and agriculture, traditionally intertwined under the canopy of holm oaks and cork oaks, embodying what we now call BIODIVERSITY.
Our hides are perfectly positioned to offer breathtaking views of the northern part of the Sierra Grande de Hornachos. A significant portion of the estate is part of the Special Protected Bird Zone (Z.E.P.A.), where you can witness a variety of birds soaring through the skies, including the Golden Eagle, Imperial Eagle, Bonelli’s Eagle, Eagle Owl, Griffon and Black Vultures, Black Stork, Iberian Yellowtail, Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Goshawk, Common Kestrel, Booted Eagle, Short-toed Eagle, Bee-eater, European Owl, Eurasian Kite, and Montagu’s Harrier.
