Amazing turtle snorkeling! - The turtle snorkeling in Akumal was my favorite single activity of this trip! It’s an absolute can’t miss in this region! Our guide, Diego, did an awesome job helping us find turtles, showing us an incredible cave-type cenote, and guiding us through the Tulum ruins. Even though it was a million degrees outside. I would highly recommend this activity!!

Turtley perfect! Fabulous trip with just enough of everything
 - A fabulous day out, totally worth it. We saw the Tulum ruins early when hardly anyone else was there (& no queues), swam with lots of turtles, (so close I nearly bumped into one), schools of fish, a stingray & huge barracuda, our guide Tomas was great - knowledgeable & entertaining. The (usually indifferent) teenagers gave it 11/10 & want to repeat the turtles. Take a long sleeved rash vest for snorkelling as you can’t wear sunscreen in the protected area. Sandals/flip-flops were fine for the whole trip, there’s a bit of walking at the ruins but it’s a small site. The centres water is cool but not icy - around 24C. We didn’t see anyone else inside while we were underground. We booked through the hotel & they were very accommodating when we had to change the day due to sickness last minute.

Great tour to Tulum and Akumel! - From pickup at our hotel in Cancun, Braulio our guide was great! He talked to us during the drive about the animals here in the Yucatan, and gave us pamphlets to read while we rode along to Tulum. His tour through Tulum was good, and gave us time at end to take pictures as well. The cenote was really cool, it was a cave system so unique to this area. Swimming in Akumel was very good, we saw more than the sea turtles and loved swimming in the warm water! Braulio and our driver Antonio were great, and Alan our photographer took amazing photos!

Wonderful time in Tulum - During our holiday in Mexico, we went on the tulum 3 in 1 excursion. So, we visited the site of Tulum which is in my opinion more beautiful than Chichen Itza, went snorkling at Akumal bay and visited a Cenote. All with guidence of the excellent Rubén Marenco. He took all the time to answer questions, took care of everyone in the group, but also made sure other tourists in other groups weren't bothered by us, especially in the water of Akumal. His relaxed and caring approach made the day more complete. The tours were beautiful and long enough. It's humid and hot here, and with hot i mean HOT, so longer stays, especially in Tulum, would not be comfortable. I managed to get quite some pictures in the waters of Akumal. There was time and space enough. So the gopro dit his job. We had a very nice day. Tired at the end, but would recommend everyone to go here!

Emmanuel and the crew were fantastic! - From the moment Emmanuel and the van driver picked us up from our hotel until the moment they brought us back, this tour was nothing short of magical. Emmanuel was with us every step of the way and he made sure we saw everything and were well taken care of. I was unsure of snorkeling but he made me feel comfortable and made sure I had help getting into and out of the boat. We learned so much and had a wonderful time. I would 100% recommend this tour.

A truly brilliant trip worth every penny! - This trip was the best one we went on all holiday. Tulum is lovely and small enough to walk around without getting tired. The location by the sea is stunning too. The turtle swim is simply amazing and worth the trip alone. Our 9 year old isn’t a partially strong swimmer but Suli (our guide) let her hold onto the ring which was greatly appreciated. Seeing the turtles in their natural habitat was a pleasure and even our grumpy 14 year old loved it. The last stop of the trip was the best of all. Ocean Tours have their own Cenote, slightly off the beaten track, which is like no other one you’ll visit in Mexico. It’s actually an underground cave and you’re allowed to swim beside stalactites and around stalagmites, something you’re not allowed to do in the UK. All in all, this is a wonderful trip.

3 amigos explore Tulum - The activities were great. Every place was so beautiful. The cenote had cute bats. While the road was rough to get there, but so beautiful and different then the other cenote experiences. Snorkeling was fantastic. In addition to seeing 3 sea turtles, we saw 2 different sting rays, a pod of squid and loads of fish. Braulio our guide was friendly energetic and didn't push any products/purchases. Antonio our driver got us back safe and sound. They both were able to quickly respond when plans changed.

Family Experience - The tour was a good experience. We started the day snorkeling. It was proven difficult to navigate with other tour groups around us. We kept intermingling with others. But it didn’t take away from seeing at least 6 turtles and so many fish. One turtle was huge. One of the guides from another group was getting aggressive with people. It was a bit off putting. I get the concern for the animals though. We went from there to a cenote. The family and I went to the Xcaret Xenotes a few days before this one. This experience was not the same. This one was a real cenote experience and not something polished for tourism. You swim through the cavern and come out the other side. It’s cold water but so fascinating to swim through. Very clear waters. After the cenote you will have a very well made Mexican lunch. The ladies were there making it over a fire and pressing the tortillas. I highly recommend bug spray for this portion. Mosquitoes everywhere. The tour through Tulum was executed with the guide detailing the buildings and history. The only downside to this part was the time of day we get there; 2:00pm and the sun is high! It was extremely hot and very little shade. Strongly recommend a solar umbrella to enjoy this a bit more. The group did not self tour too long we were all getting extremely hot. Ismael was our tour guide. Aldo was our driver. Maxi was our photographer.
