Super SUPer Galápagos! - We spent a morning paddle boarding and snorkelling with Erik and it was fab! He took care of everything and provided snorkels, flippers, towels and water. He gave us a tour of the bay and some history of the island, spotted lots of wildlife for us and found great spots to snorkel. We were also able to rent a Go Pro from Erik to take photos while we were out. Erik was very professional and takes a lot of pride in his SUP business. Thanks to him for such a fun morning- I would definitely recommend as an activity while on San Cristobal!

MUST-DO experience in Galapagos - Erik - the owner and instructor - was AMAZING and accommodating with all my needs (I booked SUP rental, instead on SUP rental + instructor): we were able to tweak the time based on my new request. It was the first time for me doing SUP, so I had no clue. Erik explained to me everything perfectly, being patient with a clumsy client. I was able to stand-up on the paddle board. I wish I had more time (unfortunately I spent only 6 days in San Cristobal, doing volunteering work). I would recommend this activity to anyone!

A great day paddle boarding - My friend and I had an amazing time paddle boarding in the bay! The service was friendly and professional. Sea Lions escorted us as we paddled around and we saw tons of turtles and fish when we stopped for a snorkel. Definitely recommend paddle boarding with SUPer bay!

Excellent introduction to stand-up paddleboarding - My wife and I had a great time paddling around the harbour, with turtles, sea lions and sharks all making an appearance. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable (and spoke excellent English), which made for a great introduction to SUP. (We actually visited the Galapagos in November 2017)

AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS - My excursion on July 24th, 2024 was a terrible experience. The guide brought along an employee to train (who seemed to have no SUP experience) without informing me before hand and focused almost all of his attention on training him. The guide was impatient and seemed agitated. He spoke rudely to both me and his young employee (who was doing his absolute best to follow the guide’s instructions). I cut the 2.5 hour planned excursion short after less than an hour.

Paid for a Tour Guide and Were Left in the Sea by Ourselves - A group of friends and I booked a paddle boarding tour through SUP Galapagos Tours and had a terrible experience. We expressed our interest in a guided SUP tour and shared that we had limited experience with paddle boarding but were assured it would not be an issue as we would be with an expert the entire time. I would never have paid $160 to be stuck out in the waves with no guide because I do not nor claim to know the Galapagos. SUP Galapagos Tours’ website clearly stated the $40 (per person with a minimum of 4 people) tour was guided prior to our incident (which we documented before the website was changed). Beyond that, we were given no instruction on how to use the personal flotation devices (if they should have been necessary) and were not given proper warning that it was incredibly windy that day. This entire situation could have been avoided if the company provided the services for the price they claim to.
