- Plaza Charco - In your free time in Puerto de la Cruz, you must visit Plaza del Charco. This square has always been one of the municipality’s most popular spots. It is called the “Puddle Square” because of the large puddle of seawater that used to form in the middle of it. Although it has been revamped in recent years, it still has a fountain with a taro tree, Indian laurels and some impressive palm trees.

Puerto la cruz - Nice Town. Nicer than South of Island. Pity about weather. We had food in a nice restaurant.. Driver was pleasant.

It's exactly what it says - This is a bus transfer from southern resorts to a really beautiful norther resort Puerto de la Cruz. This is exactly what we wanted and what we got. Getting there from Golf del Sur by public transport is a hassle that takes nearly 3 hours (if you're lucky). But with this option the bus takes you straight from your hotel to Jardin Beach in less than 2 hours (depending where you start from). We had approximately 6 hours to look around PDLC on our own. We walked on the beach, went up the hill to see the botanical gardens and enjoy great views to the sea. It really is worth the trip, just keep in mind you are on your own.

Puerto de la Cruz 🥰 - a beautiful place, very nice local people, a wonderful old town, the northern part of the island is different from the southern part, it is calmer, quieter, but also beautiful.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour... - <p>Thoroughly enjoyed this tour, following others comments about it being a long time in the city without a map, i had plotted out two possibilities for my day and had a map at the ready. <br/>
Bus driver was great and he clearly explained pick up point. <br/>
I spent my time at Lago Martianez, it was beautiful</p>

BEAUTIFUL CITY AWAITING MANY WORKS - The best, its people and typical cuisine and author, the worst, the state of abandonment of the city, its squares and especially its beaches, like not making better use of places like Martianez beach for not resolving ideological questions

Visit to Puerto de la Cruz - The coach was late on both pickup and return. Seats are quite uncomfortable and other passengers reclined their seats making it even more uncomfortable. The person checking passengers onto coach left the tour on the outward journey and the driver was unable to communicate clearly when we were dropped off meaning another passenger had to check where our pick up point was with the tour operator. On the return journey we were taken to various resorts for drop offs, this didn't happen when we were picked up so a different route was followed meaning we were on the coach for longer than needed. When we asked to leave the coach at a different drop off point which was actually closer to our apartment than where we were picked up the driver couldn't understand us and came over quite rude. We did worry what would happen in an emergency as the driver couldn't understand us.

A very long day with no toilets on the bus - Be prepared - there are no toilets on the buses used for this trip - and no scheduled loo stops. It will take around two hours at least - or more depending on the drops offs schedule - from the Los Cristianos area. The bus is pretty poor with very poor air conditioning too. I therefore do not recommend this tour.
