Breathtaking - Beautiful tour also in daylight beautiful views seen. Starry skies are indescribably bright. Too bad that park rangers (?) need light to sit in their car.

Beautiful experience and excellent tour guide! - We booked a tour with Teide by Night on the TUI-Portal last July und overall it was a very beautiful experience we would recommend anytime. The package included a nice dinner, a glass of prosecco during the sunset with a spectacular view and of course a very interesting session of stargazing in the dark. A highlight of this trip surely was our tour guide Isabel, who not only gave us very interesting information about the Teide-Region and the stars, but also created an excellent mood in the tour bus and showed her deep love for the nature around us and the need to preserve and protect it.

The best way to see Tenerife - A truly amazing day out. The afternoon was well planned with respectful comfort breaks and refreshments. The journeying was fabulous, mainly due to our superb tour guide, who must be a botanist, geologist and historian. Amanda kept our attention so well with stories of the past and present as we learnt so much about Tenerife's culture, history and geography. She was so interesting and delivered at a pace which meant it could easily be taken in. The tour of Mt Teide and the lkava fields was fascinating. After, we had a wonderful stop to view the sunset from well above 7000ft; it was getting cold but hot mint tea was provided. Subsequently, we we driven to a lovely 3-course dinner were we got to know our fellow travellers a little more. What was especially nice here was that drinks were provided as part of the fee, so we all felt equally welcomed. Afterwards we set out for our star-gazing experience to top off a wonderful day. This is when Amanda showed she's also an astronomer and astrologer as she pointed out the major objects on show and through excellent telescopes we viewed Jupiter and the rings of Saturn. Again, and like the rest of the day before, the organisation for the night-time activities was spot-on, with 6 telescopes available, we all had ample time to view the planets and never felt rushed. The journey home in the dark was superbly driven by Reuben, our coach driver, who had been great all day long. The last lovely touch was being dropped off at our hotels in the same order we were picked up, so nobody spent too long on the coaches at both ends of the tour. In summary, a worth-while and valuable day out which was worth the fee. Many thanks to Amanda and Reuben for their time and considerate attention to all our questions throughout the tour.

Excellent half day and night trip - Excellent knowledge from Amanda who expertly passed on so much info and detail about the night sky, Teide National Park and Tenerife in general. Plenty of stops, not rushed or hurried but lots done. The 8hrs went very quickly. Excellent driving from Reuben too, along some very winding roads. Definitely recommend, especially with Amanda.

Great excursion and tour guide - The whole excursion was really good! The views from the park are stunning and seeing the sunset above the clouds is truly remarkable. The star gazing was also a lot more fun than anticipated, and we were even able to clearly see Saturn and its rings. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made him self available to answer questions throughout the trip.

Nice. - Nice tour. You get a lot of information. Since you're looking at the stars, it's okay to be with a large group.

Informative guide, long trip, worth the price paid. - Tour given in English by Pepe. He was an excellent guide, informative and clearly very knowledgeable about the subject. Most of the time the group found him funny and his jokes were well received. The driver was excellent and I am still aghast at how he handled such a large coach with skill around the hairpin bends on the mountain. At all times we felt very safe with him. The meal was pretty much of the standard you’d expect that is included in a trip like this. Take some warmer clothes as when you are at the higher altitudes the temperature is usually around 20 degrees centigrade lower than at sea level. The only reason we felt it didn’t qualify for 5 stars were the unnecessary jibes at British people/Brexit and how they were mainly responsible for the way his island has changed. Many of the issues he complained about (lack of housing for locals, not enough water, no longer being self sufficient in food are problems that should be directed to the Spanish Government and not the people who are paying your wages)! I could have replied but didn’t at the time as it wasn’t appropriate in the setting (but many fellow tourists were quite annoyed) that if he wanted to remove tourism from Tenerife it would be most likely the younger population would move from the islands and that he wouldn’t be working in a well paid jobs with a large basket of tips (probably untaxed of course?). British people have no issue with our European cousins in Spain, France, Italy etc. We have an issue with retaining control of our borders to stop endless migration because our benefits system is so generous to those who arrive with large families and choose not to work.

No sunset or stars on our trip but still good nonetheless - The overall trip was very enjoyable. The tour guide (Dominic from Belgium) was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Even though we didn't see a sunset or any stars due to cloud cover, which was very disappointing, he still gave us an insight in star constellations etc, which was still interesting. The stops on route were breathtaking and the scenery, whilst quite baron, very impressive. Mount Teide with snow on the peak is an interesting sight. The dinner was lovely and a decent portion too. The driver (Ruben) did a great job, steady drive through the mountain roads. Would we go again? Yes, but would need to see a long range forecast of the weather beforehand. It would be a great opportunity for the tour operator to offer a discount on a return journey if there was no sunset or stars to be seen in the same trip.

Just the Stars for me - I couldn’t fault our guide and the driver who were superb but such a long day and many stops which weren’t needed. Seeing the stars 5-6hours later was good and the guide was informative but so cold and tired by then it was hard to concentrate. I must mention the 3 course meal as this was truly awful and they either need to change restaurants or remove this from the itinerary . Personally I would rather of been picked up in the evening and gone straight to do the stargazing as a long weary afternoon. But the scenery & the stars were truly breath-taking & looking through the telescopes to see planets up close was amazing
