Great excursion - We had a really great time, there was lots of information provided by the tour guide, and value for money. Be prepared for a long day we were picked up at 08:30 and dropped off at 17:00. Only negative was lunch stop, we didnāt enjoy however this is optional.

Great way to see Lanzarote - What a great way to see the island of Lanzarote by going on the grand tour with Travelonworld I highly recommend it. You get the breath taking scenery and also the option to do the camel ride for an extra 11 euros.

Great experience - The best way to see the most beautiful parts of island. Had a few stops which we havenāt expected and the views were incredible. The driver stopped while going through the national park for people to take pictures.

A good way to see most of the island in a short space of time - The lava tunnel at Jameos del agua was stunning (if a little busy) and the drive through Timanfaya Natural Park spectacular. Our guide was Paul and he was humorous and informative. The coach was comfortable but pretty full so if I had been at a later pick up I might not have been able to get a window seat - much preferred when travelling alone. There were a large number of pickups and drop offs and it took ages for the tour to begin. There was also a lot of waiting if you didn't want to do the camel ride, and I found it annoying that our lunch stop gave us the choice of just one restaurant and there were no other places nearby. But, as a way of seeing most parts of the island and getting an overview quickly, this was a good bet. I am just much keener on small groups, but couldn't find a suitable one before booking.

We all liked it - Lots of things to do, the extra fee for the camel ride was worth it. Great sights, got quite a few photos. The guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The driver was very smooth as well.

Great way to see the island - We booked the Grand Tour through First Minute Transfers and was picked up a short 2 minute walk away from our hotel by coach. As we travelled up and down the island the tour guide gave us lots of information about the sights and where we intended to stop. The driver was fantastic at navigating through the tricky, narrow, steep roads and put us at ease. We were picked up at 8.45am and arrived back at our hotel for 5.30pm, so it was a long day.
You do spend most of your time on the coach as you travel from one end of the island to the other, but that is to be expected. We first stopped at the National Park of Timanfaya for a little while. The views were amazing and we watched 3 experiments to show just how hot it was a few inches under the stones. It felt like we could have been here a little longer and seen a little more but after that, we were back on the road. The next stop was the camel rides, which I have written a separate review for so will not go on too much. However, I would not recommend this, the camels are not cared for, the men did not care for them and just want to take your money - to put it bluntly, it is just cruelty.
We then went on for a lunch break, which was in a secluded area with only the buffet as an option which had been chosen by the vendor, and a very small cafe that served only ham and cheese sandwiches. We opted for the sandwiches which were quite nice and as there was no other option.
We then moved onto the lagoon which was amazing. Such incredible views and so much to take in, from the green pool of water, to the amazing different rocks and cliff looking volcanoes - it was a shame we were only here for 20 minutes. We then went on to a vineyard where we were given a small tester of wine. I think it could have been a better experience if there was someone there to explain more about the vineyard, the grapes, the way they bottle the wine etc. Otherwise it just felt like a quick toilet break and we were off again.
The last stop was by far the best - Jameos del Agua. What a beautiful place, like a paradise island. It was peaceful, relaxing and I was stunned by the beauty. We were there for about 45 minutes, which did seem like long enough to walk through the caves, enjoy the views and stop by the gift shop.
Overall I would recommend this excursion but a few little tweaks could make it better!

Great locations a bit rushed - The National park was great however the geo thermal experience was almost torture as youāre only there 20 minutes, they cook food from the heat of the earth and you donāt get a chance to eat it.
Jameos Del Agua lava tube cave is amazing and would have liked to spend more time here.
Could have been structured better to have lunch at these points of interest instead of a restaurant at a bus meeting point.

Worth doing - The last stop cave house mirror max was really impressive.
The 1 hour 30 min pick up journey to finally be dropped of to join our tour coach was not great...Air con leaking water all over the seats...tour rep Ronald didn't seem to care.
I will say his knowledge was Very good of the island so we did really enjoy the trip

Very good but expensive - We had a very good day. I would nevertheless like to highlight some negative points. Our day started at bus pickup at 8:30 in Arrecife, and we took about an hour to pick everyone up. The excursions offered are really great but be informed that you will make a lot of bus ride (which is normal: we still go around the island).
We paid the excursion 150ā¬ for two. But this Award does not include:
-the lunch
- the camel ride
I would like to come back to these two points.
First the camel ride. Award is 11ā¬ per person for about 15 minutes (they will tell you 25 but the time everyone settles is less). This is almost mandatory after all because if you donāt do it you can only go to a cafeteria and a small museum. But discovering the landscape is reserved for those who pay to maintain animal suffering. This is another problem but even though the animals saddened me greatly. It is a misery for animals who looked more than tired.
For lunch. I donāt know if all Guides do this but you pay 13ā¬ per person if you pay cash to the Guide and 12ā¬ if you pay by card directly to the ārestaurantā.
You have no choice: either you thought like us that food was included and you are therefore obliged to eat there.
Either you planned your picnic and good because it was filthy. (I may be exaggerating)
The food was cold, the meat not very good and especially the chicken undercooked!
Conclusion:
It was really good but way too expensive compared to the services
