Amazing! - It was a marvelous adventure, Robert was very patient about our requests and doubts (even before we have choose his services). From the moment Polo picked us up evertything was perfect. I must say that it was pretty unlikely to see a whale because January is the best time to watch them and we went in march, however we were very lucky to have Miguel (I hope I am not confusing his name) as a captain, he really really tried to find a whale and he did!! It was a one in a kind experience that made all of our trip worth it!!

Whales, dolphins and sea turtles oh my! - Roberto was more than a tour guide for our visit. I messaged him regarding his mopeds on WhatsApp and he was our Puerto Escondido concierge from then on. He arranged our airport shuttle to get the mopeds and then to our Airbnb. He handled our return to the airport and other travels. He can really arrange anything. Reasonable and reliable.
He took us on our Dolphin, Whale and Sea Turtle trip. It was amazing. He knew right where to go and the sights were amazing. We saw tons of dolphins, plenty of whales and sea turtles.
Very good quick English and Spanish communication. Made it so easy.

Wonderful Sea Safari - We had a terrific whale and dolphin watching experience. Roberto met us promptly at the beach in the early morning. Our guide was wonderful -- friendly and informative -- and the boat was comfortable with a canopy to provide shade from the sun. We saw whales, a huge pod of dolphins, sea turtles, and rays. Seeing all of the sea life up close was one of the highlights of our trip and we highly recommend Roberto's Ecotours.

Well worth the money - We saw whales, dolphins and sea turtles - it did not disappoint! We were on the water for 3.5 hours which felt like quite a long time. We sailed out about 6 miles to sea to where dolphins had apparently been spotted. However, the captain of the boat decided to catch a massive Mahi Mahi fish, the same day as the big Mahi fish competition? SO we think there was an anterior motive for sailing out so far.. but sort of added a bit extra to the show.

Professional company - We enjoyed the tour from beginning to end. The pick up was prompt and right at our door! The driver took us to the beach where a number of companies run out of. Thankfully we saw tons of turtles, whales and dolphins on the tour! Every time there was a spotting all the boats would radio each other so really, you can’t not see a sighting! Very pleased!

Great experience all around - Booked this tour (along with the Bioluminescence tour + rented scooters as well) and everything went great. Roberto picked us up at the hotel and was extremely flexible with WhatsApp the whole time.

Magical dolphin tour - Dolphin watching was fantastic and magical! Free pick up from our accommodation, went out on a small fishing skiff right on sunrise and then travelled about 20-30 mins out to sea to find the dolphins. Saw several schools of Pinto dolphins and then another school of spinner dolphins, plus a few big turtles, including a circling pair, and lots of birds including pelicans and a brown boobie identified by the boat's captain. Most of the time we were by ourselves without other boats. We paid 800 pesos but later heard that other places offer for 600 pp.
Good to know: if you want to swim, wear a long sleeved rash shirt and preferably a wetsuit to avoid being stung by jellyfish. It is not pleasant although the stings don't last long. Avoid the tour if you are prone to seasickness, a lot of people were throwing up and didn't seem to enjoy. Also note that the best view of the dolphins is at the front of the boat! Enjoy!!!!

Worth it, very professional! - We were picked up at our hotel at 6.45am sharp as agreed (+1 for punctuality) then we went to the beach where we waited for the other couple (+1 for being only 2 couples, Robert and the our captain), we started off quite quickly.
We were told that we needed to go far in the sea to reach the dolphins, but luck was on us and we could see them after 10 min in the boat, we were the 1st boat to enter in contact with them all! (+1) we stayed in the area for a while, the dolphins were playing with the boat and our guides were as euphoric as we were about the jumping dolphins, jumping ray matas, turtles and snakes we saw. I thought we would have to leave after a few minutes with the dolphins, but they took us to some more beaches to see from the sea.
Finally we came back to the beach after a good 2h30 on the water. Robert called us a taxi, stayed with us for a little chat while waiting for the taxi. At 10am we were at home ready to eat and with amazing memories of these beauties.
Muchas gracias Robert !!
