- Puerto Escondido - As a second stop we will arrive at Zicatela Beach in Puerto Escondido, which is one of the beaches known worldwide for its huge waves and for hosting international surfing tournaments. On this beach we can enjoy the beautiful sunset and tour the area; our team will help you take a nice picture to remember the experience.
- Laguna Manialtepec - As a last stop, we will arrive at the Manialtepec lagoon where we will be able to experience the phenomenon of Bioluminescence, which is basically a biochemical process where some organisms produce light, in this case the Manialtepec lagoon is home to many of these microorganisms that make the lagoon light up. to the contact or movement of the current. The tour will be aboard a small boat in search of the phenomenon and observe the wonders that nature gives us.
Later, they will be able to decide with the group if they would like to make a stop for dinner before starting the return to Huatulco.

We can only find this event in three places in Mexico and the most beautiful is located in Oaxaca. In addition to participating and experiencing the release of turtles on a beach considered a turtle sanctuary, where millions of species arrive each year, always providing the best quality, service and satisfaction to all our clients.
It is important to take into account that the best days to carry out the experience are when there is less luminosity of the moon, so we recommend checking the lunar calendar of the day you would like to do it. If you want to take the tour on days with a lot of light, floating houses are installed in the lagoon that are covered to be able to observe the Bioluminescence from inside.

Excellent!!!! - Everything was excellent! The guide Omar was very kind and attentive! He accompanied us at all times, releasing baby turtles was a very pleasant experience for my family and on the bioluminescence tour he even went into the water with us! We didn't have a great time! I would go with you again

Top recommended tour from Huatulco - This tour was amazing. We were picked up early and had a small family join us so it was intimate. Because the tour was so long we were given an option of stopping for lunch or dinner and he took us to a beautiful beach with restaurants on the way. Along the way our guide also gave us tons of interesting information about the area and history. Plus we stopped for a chocolate tasting and had an option for tequila tasting :)
The turtle release was magical, with each of us having a baby turtle in a bowl to release. The bioluminescence experience was amazing. Even on a bright/ full moon night we were able to see the sparkles due to big tent-like structures in the water. You had to take a 20min boat ride and swim in the water to get in the tent but very worth it and the water was very comfortable.
Overall amazing.

Releasing turtles and swimming with diamonds - Alejandro was very personable and accommodating. Chocolate tasting was a surprise! The baby turtles were adorable. Swimming at night is always a treat.

Two Magical Experiences in One Day - We spent a wonderful day with Eduardo and Gabriel, learning about the local customs, communities, sea turtles and the phenomenon of the bioluminescent plankton. We were lucky to have an evening with no moon, so we were able to experience the plankton without the tents. We could scoop the water and watch twinkling stars fall through our fingers and up our arms. It was pretty cool. Equally amazing were the stars in the sky. Absolutely beautiful. And, what is cuter than a baby sea turtle? Nothing! Long drive but if you have a guide as knowledgeable and entertaining as Eduardo, the time flies. We highly recommend this experience.

Must do tour for nature lovers. - Our guide Rolando (Rolo) was great! He explained the history of the area on our way to Playa Escondido. Stopped at the beach for photos and a snack, then a chocolate factory where we sampled various items. The group releasing the turtles were knowledgeable and protected them as they made their way to the water. The lagoon was beautiful, make sure you go closest to the new moon for the best results. The waters were glowing white when swimming and when you raised your arms out of the water there were blues speckles along your arm.

Something different - The guide Gabriel Antonio Quielva Hernández, excellent service, charismatic, patient. Thank you for such a comprehensive explanation about the tours. Consider that it is highly recommended particularly if you know how to swim, this is not my case so I could not enjoy the biolumunicensia 100%.

Don't buy through Tripadvisor, you can get it on the street for 1/3 the price. - The trip was really nice in itself, nothing there, but we found out that others had just bought the trip on the street somewhere and not through Tripadvisor and got it for 1/3 of what we had paid.
I felt really bad there.

Bad experience - I wish I could say that this was worth my money but it was not. First off, after speaking with the others in the group we realized that because we booked through TripAdvisor we had been charged an additional 40 dollars than the rest so there’s that. Also, the description is not detailed enough which then came with many surprises the first being that it was a 2 and half hour ride to the place in the first place. After that we had finally got to the turtles release late and after that we went to the bioluminescence which we were told that we didn’t get to see the full effect since it was a full moon so we had to go under these tarp made homes that caused me claustrophobia. I think there should be a price difference during the time of the week because truly we did not get what we paid for. We were in the car a lot longer than we were enjoying the experiences. I would not recommend this at all.
