We started out on the horses walking and trotting through some agricultural land and ended up at the beach, where we galloped in the sand (optional), stopped for a cold drink and to rest the horses, saw the sunset, and rode back to the starting point, all in about 4-5 hours. The horses were docile and easy to ride, and one person in our group had had no riding experience at all and did fine. Probably the high point of our stay in Puerto Escondido.
