This boat ride you have to do. It is a hell of a ride! - The boat tour includes a truck ride through the "jungle" but quite honestly, it is a non-event and you are unlikely to see anything other than trees! That said, it's a pleasant ride and a nice way to get to the boats. At the end you are going to have to walk quite a way downhill to the river, the end of which could prove difficult for some, so I must warn the walking impaired. The return climb will be taxing! It may exist but I saw no disabled provision. Once there the boat ride is an absolute thrill and you will go right up the river to, and in, the falls. You are going to get very, very wet. I am fairly old but you could not wipe the smile off my face and as we entered the full thrust of the deluge I was laughing my head off with joy. I would not have missed this trip for the world.

Great visit - I knew that timelines would be tight as I was arriving late - so booked this tour for the Brazil side of Igauzu Falls, and very glad I did. The tour bus arrived on time for pick-up; most of all, however, was the efficiency of Matteo, the tour leader, in managing everything - from helping ease the hassles of border crossing (the queues were huge, but Matteo was able to facilitate a speedy crossing - especially for the return portion back to Argentina) to taking us for a highlights tour of the falls. Matteo told me that he has done the same tour countless times (sometimes working 7-9 days straight during peak season), but he was fresh as if he was doing it for the first time. Very nice touch, very professional, and excellent tour leader.

Amazing place, easy to do without the tour, - The guide for the trip was very helpful and knowledgable so I do not want to take anything away from her at all. That said, the trip is overpriced for what it includes and we very quickly realised on arriving in Argentina (let alone Iguasu) that you can achieve everything this tour includes on your own for a fraction of the price. We paid circa $98 per person for the trip which does not include the local park tickets. A taxi from our hotel (in Argentina) to the park would be $30-50 total depending on the exchange rate. While it may seem helpful to have guidance for the border it isn’t difficult so isn’t necessary. Tripadvisor contacted us prior to the day to recommend we purchase the park tickets in advance. I strongly recommend purchasing in advance as it saves time on arrival at the falls entrance. This reinforced my thinking that this trip is unnecessary to purchase as the only thing you need to visit the falls is not included in the prices. The optional add on to the tour was the boat ride. Tripadvisor wanted $215 per person for the boat ride. We declined and purchased it directly on arrival at the park for circa £55 per person. Far cheaper. It would have been even cheaper if we had local cash available. Once at the falls they are spectacular and 100% worth visiting. I strongly recommend the boat tour, be sure to book park entrance in advance. With the guide you will find you cover the area quickly but still have time for all the key spots. On your own you would probably find you can take a more meandering pace allowing more time to take things in and if you like maybe even hang around in areas for slightly quieter moments.
