Unmissable - Amazing experience. Sea lions are very curious and you find yourself surrounded by them who are attracted to bubbles. Must-see for those in Puerto Madryn visiting. The people of the agency were all very friendly and attentive and responsible both in safeguarding the safety of the travelers, as well as the fauna of the place. I recommend it and would take it back 100%

So many sea lions, So much fun ! - We had so much fun and had so many sea lions swimming all around us ! The sea lions are so curious and engaging. You don’t swim out to them - they swim up to you and some even “cuddle” close to you and let you pet them. It was amazing to watch them underwater as they whirled around and frolicked with each other. At times they appeared to form a spinning ball of sea lions. There were sea lions of all sizes and varying colors. It was truly a wonderful experience to be a part of their world for a time. Everyone at Madryn Buceo was helpful and friendly. They helped me put on my wetsuit which kept me warm the whole trip. It was a small group; just I, my husband, and three others in our boat. Lucio, our guide was excellent. He gave us instructions on how to behave around the sea lions and how to swim safely and easily in the area. It was easy to snorkel and swim because the ocean was so calm. The boat ride was a fast scenic journey to the sea lion area. Lucio explained about the environment and pointed out other wildlife- including a penguin swimming by ! We had plenty of time in the water to enjoy the playful interaction with the sea lions. Lucio also took great video and photos of us during our trip. We highly recommend doing this excursion because it was such a beautiful and fun experience. We arrived by cruise ship and were glad that we took a taxi to Madryn Buceo because the long walk in hot weather would have worn us out. We would love to return to go diving with them next time!

Superb - you’ve just got to do it - Absolutely great trip and fabulous hosts - loved every minute. The hosts were kind enough to wait for our VERY late cruise ship to dock and took us out.

So Many Sea Lions! - Great once in a lifetime experience with my husband. Just like the photo! We swam with many sea lions and watched the babies splashing around close to the rocks. This family owned business went the extra mile in every way to make our experience a unique and memorable one, to include taking photos throughout for us to purchase and download afterwards. Very unique and personalized small group tour. To those visiting from a cruise ship, be aware that to get to the dive shop is about a 25-30 minute walk along the shore in addition to the pier walk. We recommend taking a cab to the location if you're pressed for time. Just make sure you have the exact amount in dollars or pesos because they don't have change. Back to the trip, these guys were very informative about the area, and are very knowledgeable in what they do. Thank you Madryn Buceo, keep up the great work! We highly recommend!

Worth every penny - Absolutely amazing! They cater to every age from 5-75 and make sure everyone is comfortable. The most important thing to me is that they do not exploit the sea lions habitat and maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone including the sea lions. They also provide go pro footage at an extremely reasonable price. I highly recommend this company and in fact friends went out on a dolphin watching tour the next day.

Wow factor - 10! - We had a fantastic experience with Madryn Buceo. The booking arrangements were excellent, the equipment was all in great condition (wetsuits, masks, fins, etc). The guides were excellent (Mauro? and Assi? and skipper Guillhame?) and they operated very professionally. And.... we had a great encounter with the sea lions and petrel. Highly recommended.

Beware of Weather Delays - The operator might cancel the experience. Due to weather my experience was cancelled. I was only in town for one day on a ship, so kinda bummed to not have anything to do on a Sunday. It could have been fine but the communication from the operator wasn’t super clear and kept leading on a group of people who were waiting. The older man in the shop (owner?) would say disparaging things in Spanish about the guests who were being told every 20 mins or so to wait another 20 mins… so that’s not cool but whatever. It was eventually cancelled and they processed a refund within the hour. What really irked me though was after waiting hours, one of the staff offered to drive in his own car to see a park with sea lions for $100. It was at that moment I felt ripped off. Advice to travelers: If there are any doubts about weather, don’t wait more than 20 mins because it’s not going to happen. Just cancel the activity and ask for a refund — they should be nice about it.
