Rio Pusuno - Our Amazon tour begins in the Pusuno Bajo area, where our staff will meet you to continue the journey through the tropical forest to Suchipakari Amazon Lodge.

During this part of the trip, you only need to manage your carry-on and camera equipment. All other luggage will be transported by our staff.

Suchipakari Rainforest Hotel Jungle Lodge Ecuador - Once we arrive at the EcoLodge reception area, the manager will greet you with a energy refreshing beverage, and a brief introduction about your stay at Suchipakari Jungle Lodge & Spa.

After some rest and time to unpack, one of our Naturalist Guides will provide you with basic information about the tropical rainforest, the Amazon, and how the Nomad Plan operates.

This orientation will equip you with essential knowledge to fully appreciate the amazing place you have just arrived at.

Sumaco Galeras National Park - After lunch, our guide will provide rubber boots for exploring the incredible primary rainforest on the Ceibo Giant Ecological Trail. This trail offers a variety of walks with varying levels of difficulty, lasting from one and a half to four hours. You’ll journey through dense, humid jungle, cross muddy paths, and encounter diverse wildlife. Throughout the trek, your local guide will reveal hidden secrets about the jungle’s rituals and medicinal plants, and help you spot wildlife such as monkeys, toucans, and other rare species.

Bajo Pusuno (Ahuano) - After the jungle walk, it’s the perfect time to relax and refresh at one of the sandy river beaches near the ecolodge. Your guide will provide life jackets and tubes for floating down the Pusuno River. As you gaze at the sky and the tree-lined banks, your bottom comfortably wedged in a rubber ring and skimming the water’s surface, you’ll feel as if you’ve drifted into an Amazon dreamland. A guide will accompany you during this activity to ensure your safety and enjoyment

Misahualli - The Word “TROPICAL” Doesn’t Only Apply to Caribbean Beaches…

Experience the Amazon’s version of “tropical” by taking a refreshing dip in our pool after your day’s adventures. Watch the setting sun paint the sky pink over the river and lush forests, while swapping stories with friends and family.

End the day with a craft beer, crisp white wine, or piña colada at our well-stocked bar, manned by expert mixologists. Relax in the cozy lounge or enjoy the lagoon-view seating. Please note that drinks and spa therapies are not included in your package.

Suchipakari Amazon Lodge & Jungle Spa - After a special dinner at the Mikuna Restaurant, we provide long pants and rubber boots for a night hike in the jungle. A flashlight and camera are essential for capturing the nocturnal sounds of wildlife like fishing bats, owls, insects, tarantulas, toads, frogs, and possibly snakes. Clear skies may offer an opportunity to observe a multitude of stars.

Return to the lodge and unwind in your cozy rooms.
