Bday Trip - This was a great experience. Very well organized from start to finish. Ulises the guide was the BEST. At every stop we were able to get off the bus and get some history and explore on your own too. This is an all day excursion so be ready to walk and be in the sun then you can cool down by jumping into the Cenote. When you book you will get free buffet lunch. They will offer you an exclusive deal once you’re on the bus that will include locker, vest, skip the line and one free drink at the buffet. The locker and life vest are NOT included in your price when you book. Bring extra cash for shopping and snacks along the way. Well worth the bus ride

Enjoyed the trip with a... - Enjoyed the trip with a very friendly and humorous tour guide. We were the first one to be picked up and last one to be dropped from the hotel and that increased the tour duration to 14 hours.

Book now - is fab!! - What an amazing day! Miriam and Alfredo worked seamlessly to give us a great day out! Chicken Itsa was 40 degrees that day and so quite exhausting but Miriam managed to find us shade and was super informative and full of energy! The cenoti was really special with only our bus trip in and so it didnt feel crowded. It was like a scene out of an Indiana Jones movie with hanging vines and the set up of the surrounding area was clean and really well managed with lockers, changing rooms after which you got your life jacket and walked down to the cenoti. After a swim in the cenoti; kids jumping from the platform and having tiny fishes nibbling our feet which tickled - we headed back up to have a buffet lunch. A short drive further and we were in Valladoiild- a traditional mexican town with a colourful market square, tequila tasting and after a short walk around we headed back to the bus to head back to the hotel! Really great day out - would recommend!!

Amazing tour - highly recommend!!! - We had an incredible experience. Miriam was a wonderful tour guide and Alfredo was an excellent driver. The tour was super insightful and gave us the chance to learn a lot about Mayan culture. Everything ran on time and was very convenient. Highly recommend this tour as the way to experience Chichén Itzá and Yucatán área!

A very insightful trip! - The most impressive part of the tour for me was visiting the Cenote. I wish we could have a bit more time in Cenote. 1.5 hours for lunch and swimming was pretty tight, considering we needed to also change clothes, take a shower before and after, and get our lockers/life jackets. So the time allocated to Cenote was a bit short and felt rushed. However, the tour guides, Marcos, Alfredo, and Hose were great, and the tour guide who gave the Chinchen Itza presentation in English did a fantastic job explaining the history!

Lovely cenote, visit to short chichen itzá, too focused on souvenirs - The tour was fine overall, but focused less on the cultural side than we would have liked. There was a 45-minute first stop in a Mayan community, where you could buy souvenirs and coffee. Very expensive souvenirs, mediocre coffee and excessively long stop. It would have been much better to save that stop or shorten it and spend more time in chichén itza. The visit to chichen itza was fine, although a little short (2h explanation+free time) and the explanations brief. It would have been nice to be explained the map of the area to visit it better (they only explain what is in the main pyramid square "kukulkan"). The cenote we really liked and the regular buffet food. The visit to Valladolid is short, but good for a little walk, as long as you skip the tequila tasting (which is a way to take you to a store to buy more souvenirs). We hired the package without everything included, and then we were able to add what we needed easily (ticket to chichen itza, vest for the cenote...). I think this was a hit. In general, it would be better if the tour focused more on the cultural visit and less on the purchase of souvenirs.

Wouldn't book again - Altho I think Paul was kind, I very much did not enjoy this trip. At pick up, it was very difficult to understand which bus we needed to be on. In large part because our bus didn't arrive at the same time as the other 4 buses, it arrived like 20min later. The only point of contact was a man selling bug spray saying he was the liaison. Which I'm sure was a scam to buy bug spray. Or it seemed like it atleast. In addition, It felt more like a high pressure shopping trip/guilt trip for purchasing at every stop they made. It was awkward, uncomfortable and unenjoyable. He also waited until we all purchased the big spray from the vendor's before telling us we didn't need it today... Which was really off putting. Didn't tip, but did leave our 200 peso big spray on the seat for him. Chichen Itza was very unenjoyable too with all the vendors harassing you and not allowing for you to experience the temple and property. For the tour there, the group was way too big to hear the guide. Not happy with this excursion.

Awful, pushy tourist traps and BS stories - We expected a long trip, this was 14hrs, we've been on many before; the tour guide was okay, not the most engaging, you can tell hes feeling its one bus of gringos after another, completely checked out. Even from him the majority of the excursions were a constant sale, pushing purchasing and preserving real "mayan culture". Claiming purchasing hand painted mayan calendar birthdays (very clearly computer printed) We were shuffled like cattle from one tourist trap to another, literally dropped at the door of shops. Chichen Itza while beautiful ruins, is a huge tourist trap. You are given 30minutes of minimal archeological history and then "left to explore" aka rows of aggressive merchants with the same cookie cutter mass produced trinkets who insult you if you don't buy. The cenote was dirty, we had done a couple others in past trips and this trip and this was a staged hole in the ground, it was filthy. Cenotes have been quite clean and refreshing natural ones in national parks. The paid lunch was cold, buffet style, half empty and not great. Then taken for "tequila tasting" in Vallodid, aka shuffled into a high end store literally they bus door opened into the shop door. We couldn't get out fast enough. I would never waste my money on this company or tour again. Just all around disappointing and pushy. I can get that experience walking down 5th street.

You deserve something better, so find something better :) - It was the most typical bad tour group experience you could get. The first and the last stop were made for shopping. Don't remember exactly, but at least one was not mentioned on the web page. It also said max 40 people on the webpage but we actually got around 55 people. More importantly, because they didn't separate english and spanish speakers, the tour guide had to say everything twice, once in each language. This means at Chichen Itza, the hot archeological site, you'd need to stand in the sun for extra 5-10 minutes if it's something that should just take 10 minutes to explain. It honestly ruined the whole experience for me. The Cenote itself was fun, but it had nothing to do with the tour guides. My chichen Itza trip would be way more fun had I booked other tour. Also I would just prefer to have more personal space during the bus trip not a 8 a.m. one and a half hour lecture. I really don't know how they get this many five stars, but I truly don't think that I can get something worse. guys I'm confused.
