Good for family with kids, very knowledgeable tour guide - SAT Mexico Tours are very punctual and professional. They are very knowledgable to the history of Chichen Itza. I am very impressed. I booked this tour on 11/18/24 for 8 people and we are happy that they were abled to accomodate us. We only see Chichen Itza in History channel and museum show. We were so glad to see in person. The Cenote was very nice too. One of the best Cenote in Cancun. Valladolid was a cute town. We visited the old church and thanked God for keeping us safe in our journey to Cancun. Thank you SAT for sharing your knowledge and keeping us safe. We will come back and book this tour with you again.

Chichen Itza - Miriam tour guide and Alberto driver were great and kept us engaged all the while. Cenote is oversold and food was very average and you need to pay even for water there. Will recommend for family traveling with kids

Our guides Rodrigo and... - Our guides Rodrigo and Hugo were great. Both very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the ruins. Their excitement was infectious and made the ruins feel all the more special. We learned a lot. Our bus driver, Augustin, did a great job and drove very safe, which was especially impressive for such a long day driving. They all worked to keep the bus very clean between stops, including going above and beyond when one of the passengers vomited. As for the sites and stops, which do not reflect on the great staff, I wish we wouldn't have had do to the first stop at the souvenir store. It was just a money trap and could easily be cut. The ruins were great, but I wish I had chosen an earlier tour to beat the crowds, and the plethora of vendors on site took away from the historic nature of the place. The lunch was a little disappointing for vegetarians, as there wasn't much of substance if you dont eat meat. Finally, it'd be great to have more time for colonial city at the end. I understand the bus can't park in the square for more than 30 minutes, but it'd be nice if they could drop off the passengers, park elsewhere, and then pick everyone up after at least an hour. Again, the guides were lovely and the van was comfy and clean. The cenote was also beautiful!

Do not recommend - This tour is not worth it and you’re basically just paying for the bus ride. They were 40 minutes late to pick us up from our hotel and when I tried to reach out to their customer service to get an update they were very rude. A ticket to chichen itza costs $26 but they charge you $40 for it. The buffet they take you to is extremely bad, everything was basically over salted carbs and drinks are not included. If you get a drink it’s also very overpriced at $5 for a bottle of coke cola. At the cenote, you have to pay extra for life jackets which are required and for towels and lockers. The artist market they take you to is really overpriced, you can find the same stuff around Mexico for was cheaper. The tour guide was also trying to coerce people into buying souvenirs and renting umbrellas from his buddies. Overall the tour is just way too long at 12+ hours, I would recommend getting a car and seeing everything at your own pace.
