Boat 4 is the best!!! - This was our second year doing this and love it every time!! Boat 4 aka the “sexy boat “ is a great crew who take care of your every need. Relaxing boat ride, fun music and great food and drinks!! Will be back again for another trip

Overall A Nice Tour - Overall a decent tour. A bit disorganized getting everyone situated for the boat ride to the reef. Not a very clean facility. The actual snorkeling was pretty cool. The guides watch you like a hawk for safety reasons. A++ for that. The tequila sampling and brief history lesson regarding the tequila making process was interesting. Lunch was very good.

Fun but wished it was longer - The guides were very friendly and professional. Also, the shop prices were super reasonable. The trip itself was great. While I personally wish the pace was a bit slower and could spend a bit more time in the reef, I didn’t feel rushed or frustrated. The only critique I have is that I wish there was more transparency around the itinerary. While it’s listed as a four hour trip, we spent less than an hour in the actual water. The other portion was lunch and walking around town before our transport came. While the town is cute, I had hoped for more time at the reef.

Enjoy the beauty. - Helpful and fun crew on boat and at the business location (two blocks from boat); business lacks a changing area for males. National Park only allows GoPros attached to head or chest.

Snorkeling in Puerto Morelos - The crew on the boat were great! Thanks Freida, Mike, Marcus. However, the Reef was the star of this adventure. We saw absolutely amazing fish and coral! The shared ride to Puerto Morelos was efficient but, time consuming. We spent nearly an hour picking people up within the hotel zone. If we did this again, I would want an option for personal transfers or at least smaller groups. Note: you cannot wear any kind of sunscreen on the Reef. I wish this was clearly stated, I bought “reef safe” sunscreen that I could not use.

Puerto Morelos Reef Snorkeling - We booked a 4 hour snorkeling tour with What to do in Cancun. The snorkeling was a good experience and we could recommend it for beginners. The snorkeling staff was amazing, very helpful and seemed to have a lot of knowledge about the marine life. We felt taken care of during the whole boat trip and snorkeling. The activiny itself was quite short, 1 hour, after which we continued to the restaurant nearby to eat tacos. Very mediocre, you can easily find better food in Cancun. Although the estimation of the trip was 4 hours, we ended up with a day trip of over 8 hours. We spent approximately 4 hours in the car as the traffic jams were horrible on the way to Puerto Murelos - this is obviously not the staff’s fault. On the way back we took a ~1h detour without understanding why - the driver (nor anyone at any point of the day) did not keep us informed about the situation. In addition we faced extreme weather conditions as it was pouring rain. Driver’s driving style was totally irresponsible considering the weather and did absolutely not meet our (western) standards of safety. We asked the driver to slow down on the highway because we felt scared as it was pouring and the visibility was horrible. The driver responded that he already thinks he is driving too slow on the highway. This was an unfortunate experience even though the snorkeling itself was nice.

Tourist trap, poor service bad experience. - They are very tricky and will charge you fees which is more than the government t fee. Poor transportation no attention to detail and then they will try to seek you an over priced tequila. AtY away from them. Be prepared to wait 2 hr for a ride back to you hotel, don’t ask them to drop you elsewhere because they will not do so.

Poor service and lack of honesty. Stay away from this tour operator - WOULD NOT recommend them for any activities. 1) They will picky up late and then be 45 min late to take you back to hotel. They have vans but schedule it to their convenience so you are waiting for a van to return to hotel while most people have already left. 2) They claim a charge for Snorkel taxes is 10 USD when the government cost is 54 pesos (3USD). [picture bellow] When I Asked why they made a bunch of BS, I checked with some other licensed boats and the cost is 54 pesos. I told one employee they should at least be honest and he said the owner pockets the rest of supposed fee. 3) They will waste your time with a Tequila tasting and sell you their Tequila which is overpriced. 4) Lunch does not include a drink and they give you 3 tacos with are very small. 5) Photograph will be charged extra and you will be charged and exchange money at whatever rate they feel like it. Please, please stay away from this people. If you get to Puerto Morelos you can do the snorkel for about 20 USD includes the permit and all gear. Furthermore the bus will have a limited drop off and I saw how the driver told other guest that he would not drop them to their hotel. I was truly shocked that after paying so much you get that type of hospitality.
