Private Snorkeling in Puerto Morelos - We had a private group of 5. Our tour group operator was very eager to please us and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. They picked us up right at our property and took us to the boat in Puerto Morelos. It is a very quaint town without a lot of tourists. The boat driver and tour operator took us to two different places on the reef. With the current, it is easy to get separated from each other but the boat driver and tour operator did a great job keeping our group together. We saw a lot of coral and beautiful fish. Afterward, we went for lunch on the beach and had a fabulous meal.

You have to check this out! - Kay tours is an awesome experience. We have used them 3 times and Kay tours were awesome for all of them. Jane and Daniel were two tour guides we used who were astounding. We had a spectacular experience and the guides and Kay tours were nothing but helpful and fun.

Great private tour - Luis and Luis were great snorkel guides. They were very attentive and doing a private tour is the best option. The coral reef was amazing at Puerto Morelos.

Fun & Friendly adventure! - Our guide Daniel was FANTASTIC!!! We are so happy we chose this excursion. The guides were so friendly and helpful. Daniel gave us so much great information about the area & local cuisines etc. In addition to coral & schools of fish we also spotted turtles and a barracuda. We had one friend get a little sea sick and they were so sweet to accommodate us and be helpful. Can’t wait to connect with Daniel again for an excursion.

Super smooth - Helios is a top notch guide. His English is just as amazing as his knowledge base (sea life, history, etc). My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1/2 day snorkeling trip with him. We plan to come back and do another trip with Kay Tours. The sales staff is also super smooth and helpful.
Highly recommend!

Highlight of our trip! - This private snorkel experience will go down as the highlight of our trip to Puerto Morelos. Alejandro (Alex), picked us up at our hotel and took us to the docks where Juan and his boat awaited. On the way, Alex gave us the history of Puerto Morelos and the Mayan people. We were so grateful for his knowledge of the culture and the history of the region we were vacationing in.
The reef at Puerto Morelos is very close to shore, so after just a 5 minute boat ride, we had arrived at the reef. My husband and I have snorkeled at many different places including all over the Caribbean and Hawaii. This was some of the best snorkeling we have ever experienced. The reef is so vibrant and healthy. It is very shallow, so you find yourself swimming so close to everything. On this particular day we saw a very large stingray, lobster, many varieties of fish, and barracuda. It was fabulous. Alex and Juan got in the water with us and Juan was very familiar with the reef and was showing us things, diving down and finding amazing starfish and conch to show us and was so knowledgable about the varieties of fish and sea life. Thank you Juan! After snorkeling for at least 60-90 minutes, we returned to shore. There were showers available to get the salt water off and we went back to the hotel feeling thankful and blessed to have spent the morning with Alex and Juan in one of the most beautiful reefs we've ever seen. Muchas Gracias!

An Experience that is Worth the Premium - We’ve gone snorkeling in multiple times in Hawaii, Cancun and Cabo, but nothing beats this private experience.
Angel was our guide for the day and from the moment he picked us up at the hotel, he was nothing short of incredible.
On the ride to the dock, he was talking with us and giving us recommendations, as well as small facts about things we were passing. He even mentioned that if we were thirsty, he can pull some sodas or beers from the cooler in the back of the car.
We could tell was doing his best to make sure we had a great time.
When we arrived at the dock, he met the captain and our snorkel guide. They were very friendly locals and while out on the ocean, we left our belongings on the boat. Nothing was missing and none of our bags were rummaged through.
Angel explained to us a few things and we were set to snorkel! With a private experience, you are not waiting for any other groups, you move at your own pace and you stop when you’re interested in something!
We saw barracudas, puffer fish, schools of pompano fish and much more! Our snorkel guide also picked up a few conch and showed us the creature inside. I wish we got to see a sea turtle, but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be that day.
Angel went above and beyond during the snorkeling portion by bringing his own GoPro and shooting videos for us so we didn’t have to bring our cameras. He wanted us to be able to fully enjoy the moment!
After our snorkeling, Angel took us into town and let us roam around, take photos and also recommended a great local restaurant. We ate there with him and exchanged stories about our lives.
Our day ended with him bringing us back home.
I wish we did this trip earlier. We met Angel on our last day in Cancun. But we will definitely come and tour with him again next time.
Thank you Angel!

Great private snorkeling experience. - One of our favorite snorkeling trips. They picked us up at our hotel and took us to the boat where we were met by the captain and first mate. Very friendly guys. They took us to a an area where there was lots to see and it was pleasantly shallow so we were much closer to the coral and fish than most snorkeling expeditions.
