Excellent customer service! - Excelente service, México knows customer service! They try hard to speak English, however us Americans want everyone to speak English. This tour was really cool. Pristine coral life however it sheds light on how fragile life is. Keep in mind that everything is an attempt to get money from you, is it any different in the US? Atleast here the service is great!

We had a great time with wonderful staff - Such a great experience! Firstly, the staff was amazing. Our tour guide Mike was the best- he was friendly, informative, and very funny! Mike made sure that the entire group stayed together while we snorkeled. We snorkeled for about an hour and we mainly saw a wide variety of small fish, lots of coral reefs, and a few barracudas. They supply us with new snorkeling gear and lend us goggles and lifevests. The only thing about snorkeling is that they are very particular about following the rules of the national park, so preservation of the reef is their top priority. Do not wear sunscreen! They will make you take a shower to rub it all off. Also, the water is quite shallow and you can get really close to the reefs, which could be either a good or bad thing. The only bad part about snorkeling was that the tour group was kind of big. Our group was about 15-20 people, and we bumped into each other a lot underwater. It made it difficult to avoid bumping into the coral at times. The tequila tasting was surprisingly really good! We are not the biggest fans of tequila, but the tasting consisted of 6 different types of tequila that progressively tasted better. The shots were pretty small, but expensive local tequila was used. Also, the tasting was very informative as they explained the whole process of making tequila. The tacos were also pretty good. We had the fish tacos and you can see our view of the beach from the restaurant. We have had better tacos elsewhere, but the fish was delicious! They gave us 3 tacos each for lunch, which was just the right amount for us. Overall, a great experience that is well worth the value. Shoutout to the staff for making the experience what it was!

Great experience. Would go again! - I’ve been snorkeling in Barbados, Hawaii, and the Dominican. This was one of the best experiences of them all! It was my first time in Mexico, and I LOVED IT!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout. In other experiences, half of the excursion time was spent getting to the spot. Not this one. You can see where we are going from shore. Fair warning though, the initial swim did seem a bit daunting at first as I’m not overly comfortable in the water. The boat has to anchor a distance away from the snorkeling area because of the shallow depth of the water. I was wondering if I was going to make it. But once I settled in and relaxed, the expanse of coral and sea life was amazing! The current did most of the work taking us back to the boat. I’m ready to go again! While the tacos and tequila were a nice bonus, I was really just extremely satisfied with the snorkeling.

Colorful tropical fish and nice tacos. Neat town, - Good value. Enjoyed snorkeling. Great tacos. Would have liked a heads up about separate tipping of driver, restaurant and dive teams.

Snorkeling in Puerto Morenos - We loved seeing the fish and the small barracuda. It’s very sad to see that all the coral has been bleached to shades of brown. The staff was attentive and someone stays in the water with you the whole time. It was very windy yesterday and people who used other companies said they had huge waves. We were not bothered at all as the reef in Puerto Morelos is close to shore.

Not worth it. Too much upselling. - For what we paid, which was £44 / $56, this was very expensive. We were taken from hotel in minivan, to location in Puerto Morelos, then on a speed boat, then scuba diving for 1 hour. Back to a restaurant. 3 tacos for lunch. Pay for you own drinks. We were left in the restaurant for too long before given transport back. There was a lot of upselling. Asking A LOT of money for photos they took, as u are not allowed to take your phones on the dive. In comparison the trip to Chichenitza packed in much more activities and more food at £37.

I don't know if it's a natural reef, but it looked weak and I don't know where the admiration came from - Don't expect to see anything from Attenborough's films. The leader of the expedition is not necessarily nice. Afterwards, they wanted to sell me a photo of my leg underwater with a few more successful photos for $50 USD. I don't recommend it, although I don't know if you'll see something better. Trip 3/10.

Lots of waiting and pushy staff. - The reef was nice but the staff was rude and always trying to sell overpriced items or services. The main person “Oto” was pushy and was snarky. He chased me down wanting more tip money when I kept asking for change, he pretended to not understand me. He wanted my high peso bill and was hoping I was too naive to care about wanting to tip less. On the tour, staff lectured about no sunscreen on the reef but then proceeded to give everyone disposable snorkels in a plastic bag. The carbon waste of all the plastic does more damage to the reef than sunscreen. Then the staff said it was mandatory to wear life jackets but no of them did. The staff was a group of very weak swimmers themselves. Afterwards food was provided but less lacking with no drinks. On the tour, a lot of time was spent waiting on the staff to get themselves together. They were unorganized. Finally, we were asked to fill out reviews, the staff sorted out all the negative reviews probably to hide them from their boss. Next time just take a taxi from Playa del Carmen if I am going to that area.
