Highlights
  • Puerto Natales - Drive from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales

  • Cueva del Milodon - We will pick you up in Punta Arenas, we will drive north 170 miles. The first destination is the Milodon Cave where in 1895 remains of a prehistoric animal were found and today there is a replica of the mammal and detailed information on the glaciall process of how the cave was formed.

  • Torres del Paine National Park - We will then drive to the entrance of the Park

  • Lake Pehoé - Inside the Park you can meet the turquoise lakes such as Pehoé and Nordenskjold, waterfalls and ice-covered mountains. A 15-minute walk inside the park is necessary to get close to the Salto Grande.

The first natural scenarios that can be seen as you approach the park are: Sarmiento Lake viewpoint, Torres del Paine, Cuernos del Paine and Cerro Almirante Nieto. As for the fauna, the most predominant animals that are appreciated are: guanaco, ñandú and condor, as well as others less frequent to observe such as foxes, hares, chincol and the lion of America: the Puma.

  • Nordenskjold Lake - Lake Nordenskjold, a pristine gem nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia, offers a captivating blend of tranquility and natural beauty.

Named after the Swedish geologist Otto Nordenskjold, this glacial lake boasts a striking deep blue hue that reflects the sky and surrounding mountains, creating a mesmerizing visual symphony. Fed by the Paine River, the lake’s waters originate from the melting ice of the imposing Paine Massif, which adds a touch of purity to its allure.

  • Laguna Amarga - Laguna Amarga, a serene and captivating natural feature, graces the landscape of Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. Its name, which translates to “Bitter Lagoon,” hints at the unique character of this remarkable body of water.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Paine Massif, Laguna Amarga showcases a picturesque contrast between its tranquil surface and the rugged, imposing peaks that surround it. The lake’s waters, often reflecting the intense blue of the Patagonian sky, offer a reflective sanctuary amid the wilderness.

While its name may evoke a sense of bitterness, Laguna Amarga’s beauty is anything but. The subtle play of light on the lake’s surface, especially during sunrise and sunset, transforms it into a canvas of ever-changing colors, inviting visitors to pause and absorb the magic of the moment.

  • Cerro Castillo - During our journey, we’ll make a delightful stop at a charming rustic general store in Cerro Castillo. Here, you can savor a comforting cup of coffee, take advantage of clean and well-maintained restrooms, and treat yourself to a delicious snack.
  • Punta Arenas - We will finally head back to your hotel in Punta Arenas.5 Hour drive,

6 stars! - Cannot recommend this experience highly enough, both for the landscape and our guide. Juan doesn’t deliver a scripted lecture like some tours, but rather a free flowing conversation filled with the history, geology, ecology and culture of the Magallanes region that adapted and customized to our interests and itinerary. My only regret is only scheduling a single day to visit Torres del Paine, and already planning a future trip back to Patagonia.

Our guide Gerardo Jaque made it even more enjoyable as he explained everything about the park and pointed out all picture perfect location for photos. Full Tour of del Paine with a Pro - Geraldo was very knowledgeable about the geology of the area, providing insightful perspective of the day-long tour along with history of the region, as well as being engaging and well spoken in both English and Spanish. He and Philip (driver) were flexible and worth spending the day with in a foreign country. Highly recommend.

Torres del Paine in All It's Splendor...Magical. - The day we spent with Christian (guide) and Jimmy (driver) in Torres del Paine was everything we could have hoped for. The weather was truly wonderful, Christian provided us with a lot of information on the park and was able to answer any questions we had. Jimmy was a very safe driver and navigated the dirt portions of the road very well. As we toured Christian was continual asking us if we wanted to stop for pictures, as a result we got a number of great pictures. Jimmy also took a lot of pictures and after the tour he sent us the pictures he had taken of us. A real added bonus. The pictures in the review were all taken by our guides with their cameras. After many tours of South America we would deem the guide and the driver for your company as exceptional, An amazing experience.

The Guide Juan was so knowledgeable with the whole park and we enjoy the information he shared with us. He was also very helpful and experience guide especially on the wind condition and even helped my wife when she encounter strong wind against her.

Well worth the premium in a private tour - Professional Communication: the owner Gerardo managed interacting with guest himself upon reservation. His international exposure, knowledge from academics and compassion having lived aboard ensured a smooth and professional communication. Engaged guides: having interacted with a number of tour guide - Christian, Jorge, they had professional certification, skills, passion and pride. They leveraged the private tour to maximize what matters for the most to each guest. They are for sure jot the cheapest tour supplier and are not supposed to compete with large group tour operators, but we felt the service well justified what we paid for. So if you are on tight schedule and don’t want to waste any minute in Punta Arenas or want to get to insightful conversation with locals knowledgeable about the culture and geography, this is a safe bet.

Christian can speak Chinese :) - Christian and Geraldo offered a very personally engaged private tour for our family. We started at 6 and the tour stretched almost till 9 as I stop often for photography. They were patient with our request and informative to our questions. Christian is an expert of waterfalls and next to Spanish, English he can speak Chinese with us and Gerado is a photographer too. Amazing to manage the trip while getting to know a few new friends. Thanks.
