Mud Buggy Max - This is a mud buggy experience to the max. You will be wet and dirty but so much fun. Consider taking a change of clothes, they have dressing rooms.

Not what we expected - It was a very long walk to the pick up point. We were picked up in a small suv. There were 6 of us.. quite crowded. It was a very small organization. Our tour was not what we expected. We mostly rode down regular dirt roads along with cars/trucks. The beach where they took us was dirty. The guys didnât speak English although we asked for English speaking guides. It was pretty unprofessional.

Would choose something else. - People were nice, but it was just a buggy ride over bumpy roads to a local place where they want you to buy things, then a 15 minute stop at a local beach where they want you to buy a drink. No stopping for views or local history or information. Get very dirty but they warn you about that.

Felt sketchy from the start, but turned out just ok. - This excursion was not at all what we had hoped for. Weâve done a Dune Buggy excursion in the past that was much different than this one and we were hoping to have the same kind of experience, but this time with our daughter and grandson. We were picked up in a beat up vehicle with no name , company or anything on it. I asked the person who told us to get in, what the name of this excursion was to verify it was the right one and his answer was âyesâ. I said â Who are you here to pick up?â Again, his answer was âYesâ. The only reason we decided to get in was because the driverâs shirt said Super Buggy and that was the excursion weâd asked for. There were 6 of us crammed in this vehicle plus the driver. We did notice a sign in the windshield that said âCatamaranâ. That seemed strange, but he took us to Dune Buggies. When we got to the place, one of us asked for water (that was included) and the guy walked away, spoke to the other workers, and came back to the group without water, and proceeded to try to tell us about this waiver we needed to fill out. We speak English and clearly he did not. He tried though! Kudos for trying. We think he said it was his first day and that whoever was supposed to be there was still sleeping. So when we asked again about the water, we were told weâd stop for that on our ride. Which we did. We were expecting to be off-road as described in the description, but we only rode down dirt roads. There was 1 puddle that one of our buggies hit and got a few spots of mud, but the rest was just dust. We did go down a beach for a minute or two that gave us a glimpse of our ship, but the beach was covered in trash. It was very sad. Then we had a stop at a place to see cocoa beans and how cigars are made. That was somewhat interesting, but also things they want you to buy. We got a Mamajuana sample, and that was good. Our next and last stop was a beautiful beach. Several vendors there. We got beer and a Pina Colada. The pina colada was fun. It was tasty and pretty! (Came in a hollowed out pineapple) Iâm not sure the cost of it, it my husband asked how much the beer was, and was told $5. He asked for 2, and tried to give them $10, and they wouldnât give him the beer until he gave them $15. So apparently they arenât $5. That isnât the tour operatorâs fault, just a little heads up for you. Also itâs $2 to use their restroom, so just know the ocean is free! After about 45 minutes to an hour, we were back in the buggies and led back to where we started. We were offered to buy the pictures they took of us along the way, and my daughter paid for them, but as of this review, (4 days later) still has not received them. So we are waiting to see about that. If you want a true Dune Buggy experience, this is not the one. If you want to ride on a dusty road, you might like this one. It isnât fast and unless thereâs lots of rain, I donât think you will find any mud. Hopefully the people who operate this will at the very least put some kind of identifiable company name on the vehicle. There are a lot of sketchy things going on in the world today and this surely gave off that kind of vibe when nobody could really communicate with us and there was nothing but a shirt to identify them. Had we not been a group of 6, I would not have gotten in that vehicle.

Tour was not as expected! - My family and I did this buggy tour on our recent cruise. The vehicle to transport us in was way too small for the 6 of us, there was no paperwork verifying who was supposed to be in the vehicle on the tour, the man took us to the buggys and no other people or families were there at all, the workers did not speak much English at all, they took us through the dirt road city, there was no mud- only dust! It was about a 2hr tour with a 30min beach stop, the beach was full of trash but the beach was our highlight, we did enjoy the samples of coffee and hot cocoa. I paid for 109 pictures but have not received them and this tour was 3 days ago. I have a feeling I will never see those pictures but if I do I will update! I would not recommend this tour through Trip Advisor.
