When they say you will... - When they say you will get muddy, you will! Did think it went a little overboard though. A couple of big puddles was enough.

So fun! - This was such a fun tour. Get ready to be covered in mud. I would suggest water shoes for this activity. All the boys that help run the tour were very sweet and extremely helpful 10 out of 10 recommend this tour.

Fun Fun Fun - It was so much fun I would highly recommend it. Make sure to wear swimsuits and clothes to get muddy and wet in! Water shoes that are closed toe recommended as well. Don’t take any extra stuff with you like bags. There is no where to put them and they will get just as muddy and wet as you will. So much fun though!

Surprisingly fun and an amazing time! - Truly an amazing experience ...and fun. Muddy. Definitely. But a serious blast. Just need to confirm where to meet tour as we got turned around and missed they guy(s) with the sign. But we made it and glad we did. Also, the guises were supper helpful and friendly. A great day; fabulous bargain; best excursion I have been on!

Just Book It!! 10/10 super cool experience - First time on a buggy ride and had the best time!! the guys that work here are amazing. I don’t have a driver license but I was able to handle the ride pretty well except when I drove into a tree lol (twice... haha) but it was all good! 10/10 super cool experience.

First time Buggy ride gets entire family hooked! Will be back!!! - The experience was great from the pickup at Taino Bay port with Alfonso, our guide, to the fabulous buggy ride (we got very wet and muddy!!🤩), beach stop, and break for the mamajuana shots! We will definitely do it again when back in Puerto Plata. Also recommended Dr Prime as an excursion experience for the cruise line we use! Thanks again, Alfonso and team!

The Best Buggies in DR - Me and my girlfriend loved this whole experience, the buggies operate perfectly. Even though i crashed into a small tree, the guys let me slide 😅😅😅

Super fun!!! - So much fun!! They are not kidding when it says you will get dirty. Be prepared to be completely wet and muddy. Staff was fantastic and took great care of you while having fun. One thing to note, have eye drops for after the excursion in case you get mud in your eyes. Had a slight contact issue when my goggles flew off going through one of the big mud holes.

What a blast! - We had an epic day. You first meet the team outside the gates of the Amber Cove area. (NOTE: This is something you need to be aware of. The walk from the ship gangway is 1.5 miles). We boarded an open-air jeep/truck and took a 5-minute drive to the Buggy Tour site. We were ready to head out after 15 mins of de-brief and getting our gear. (NOTE: Do not wear clothing that you care about. You WILL get muddy and you WILL get wet. Leave all belongings in a locker). My wife and I had a 2 seater, open-wheel Buggy. Walter was one of the guides who took us and he was fantastic. The first 15-20 winds through the village and into a jungle and that is where the fun begins! The next 45 mins you go through mud, water, bumps, and grooves in the road. There was one area where the water was 18" deep and the buggy cruised right thru. We then stopped where vendors let us sample mamajuana shots, coffee, hot chocolate, and even a free cigar, rolled by the owner. If you want to purchase anything they sell, cash is preferred. From there we headed to the beach where we could swim and rinse off the mud. After 10-15 mins, we headed back. One other item to know.....there is a guy who will take pics of you and video you as you are driving by. At the end, they show you the video of your group. It is very well done and available for purchase. Just know they charge a 17% credit card fee. Overall, it was one of the most fun excursions we have done in years and I highly recommend it.

It was a good time. - Experience was memorable. You have to go through Tanio bay (all the way to the end until you get to the taxi stand) it’s about a 15-20 min walk. Once you hit the taxi stand, walk on the outside of the gate and there will be a parking lot in front of the police station with the bus. They drive you close to Amber cove and you get an authentic experience of the Dominican Republic. Buggies could use some work. Two of them broke down on us while riding, but they had additional staff riding along and provided those to us. You will get dirty, no way around that. If you are open to that then this is the experience for you. Beautiful views and we stopped at the ocean to wash off. Also experienced locals where they have shops you can buy from. They provided bags to keep your items clean, but also rent lockers for $5 before the tour (would recommend doing this and then having a change of clothing in it) They take photos along the way and they look very professional. Package was $53 for 40 plus photos and a video (paid with card) sounded like you could pay cash and get a discount. Overall, very fun experience.
