Fun but bring better shoes! - Eddie picked us up quickly at the meeting spot just outside the port area. No worries finding it, all the tour operators are there. Our tour was roughly 1/2 what it would have cost if purchased on the ship. Eddie got us to the falls quickly and safely, he's a very good driver and the vehicle is comfortable. He even held our stuff while we were at the falls. The falls experience was a lot of fun but I advise you to bring really good water shoes with a thick and stable sole. You will be walking on the tops of rocks for hours. Some of the rocks are small pebbles, some around almost a foot in length/width. I didn't bring my own shoes, just used the rental water shoes. At some point, I twisted my back and/or pulled a muscle and am in pretty sharp pain the next day if I move a certain way. I'm not young but am pretty active, I do Zumba 5 days a week most weeks and stair climbing machine four times. Another person in our group slipped on a rock and evidently hurt her arm. I think probably better shoes would have prevented both falls. I hope I'm better tomorrow so I can fully enjoy the rest of my cruise. After the excursion, Eddie was there at the end waiting for us, with our bag in hand. Really professional. We were on our way back to the cruise ship in no time. I was too hurt to take the city tour. Our underwater camera did not work well so we don't have any good photos but we do have good memories!

Fantastic first experience. - The tour was amazing. JB and Junior were the best tour guides. Im a non-swimmer and this was my very 1st experience getting in the water. They were super helpful and guided me through the waterfalls. I would definitely recommend really good hiking water proof shoes. There are tons of rocks that can be really challenging and painful during the hike and in the streams.

Best tour in Puerto Plata! - The entire experience was so wonderful! Alfredo was such a fun tour guide. Very knowledgeable about everything and was so considerate. The waterfalls were amazing! The city tour was also super fun, except we bought too much chocolates at the stores. They gave us samples and it was so delicious that we couldn’t help ourselves. Most tours only do waterfalls or just city tours, but we were able to do both in this one. We felt like we did everything and saw everything! It was also private tour too. Which gave us so much flexibility. Hands down this is the tour to do.

Fantastic trip for the adventurous! Awesome way to spend the day. - This trip was worth every cent! We started with a city tour. Sampled some fresh coffee and chocolate then we headed to the falls. The falls were magical, like out of a magazine. It was the highlight of our trip. Well worth the time and money. Our tour guide JB made the trip extra special. He was lively, easy to talk to (excellent English) and had a great sense of humour. He made us feel at home and well taken care of. What a great way to end our trip here in the Dominican. ❤️ Thanks for legendary day JB! 😘😘

A fantastisk expirience. - An amazing trip to the Damajagua waterfalls. I am 50 years old, but it was so fine, and everybody helped and waited for me. Alfredo and JD was wonderful and funny.

Fun and popular excursion - Fun excursion but due to its popularity, it’s very busy and there was a lot of waiting. The guides were humorous and helpful.

Waterfalls were a great... - Waterfalls were a great experience and the guides were great. Tour of the area was great and accommodating to what we wanted to do. There were some language barriers and the vendors were pushy for tips.

It was cancel by tour group - The tour group cancel the tour lost min. Said the falls was closed but others when out the same day.this happen the day we got into port lucky I had internet to get their text.
