Worth every penny! Get ready for a Dominican workout! - This was such a unique experience! Getting to experience to true beauty of the island by hiking through the jungle and being immersed in the river/falls was magical. The food was outstanding, and the finale was a nice way to end the tour with a chance to buy some local coffee & cacao. The guides were very friendly and took lots of photos. My only complaint would be the instructions to find the pickup point were very confusing and stressful. The overall tour is also quite challenging, so if you are not in good physical shape or have trouble walking long distances, this may not be for you. Overall, AMAZING value and would recommend!

Damajagua Falls and DR Prime Tours helped save our changed cruise itinerary - We had an unexpected and disappointing change of itinerary on our cruise due to Hurricane Helene and had an unplanned stop at Amber Cove, DR. In researching things in DR, we found that Damajagua Falls was an adventure we wanted to experience. It did not disappoint. DR Prime Tours took care of us, even last minute. We had a van pick up all 9 of us outside the gates of the port. Elvis gave us a "BEE-U-T-FULL" tour. He was energetic, very knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. Because of low water levels, we were only able to do 7 of the 27 waterfalls. The hike was more of an uphill walk on a well worn path. It was hot, but there was plenty of shade. No sunscreen needed. There were a lot of places to stop and rest and drink. We had plastic water bottles that we discarded in garbage cans at the top. Felix was our tour guide and was great. He made sure we were safe, and it was the coolest experience! The natural rock jumps and slides were awesome!! Our kids said it was the greatest thing they have done to date. Jonathan, our paparazzi, was amazing. He took videos with his go pro and took some awesome pics with his SLR camera (that he managed to keep dry). After the falls they took us through the city and we toured a chocolate "factory", and had some awesome lunch. It was a great experience, especially after we were so disappointed about the changes to our original cruise itinerary.

What an insanely amazing experience in the DR! - Our shore excursion in the Dominican Republic was so Amazing! We had the best tour guide and photographer! Elvis (Elvin) safely drove us around and Jonathan was our personal paparazzi for the day! We were so richly educated about the DR by Elvis as we drove around. He taught us so many wonderful facts and cool history notes as we drove around! Elvis was a treasure trove of knowledge and we were grateful he shared all that with us. He was like a father teaching his kids! 😁 Jonathan was such an incredible and professional photographer! He came on all of our adventures and took amazing shoots and video's of all we did! We went to the 7 Damajaguas falls tour and it was so beautiful and amazing! When we got the pictures and video of our experience we were in awe of how perfect they were! It will help us remember this cool experience for ever. It was the perfect way to help us never forget such a cool place and country the DR is! Thank you Elvis and Jonathan!

Just Book It! - This was SO much fun! We had two families…. 4 adults and 8 kids from ages 7-14. We were picked up by private van. You do have to walk outside the port to meet them but they were waiting! Our driver Elvis and paparazzi Claudio were FANTASTIC. They were informative. They took extra good care of us. We were able to leave some belongings in the van while we hiked. (Towels, snacks, personal water bottles) The hike was about 45 minutes. The kids were pushed a bit but overall it was not bad. Just know it’s hot and you’re climbing up. They also gave us a bottle of water (very needed!). We took a wet bag with all our important belongings (passport, cruise card, phones) and it worked great. We did have kids in chacos and tennis shoes. You can rent the shoes at the place for $2 but they are not good….. at least the options we were given. And they did not have kids sizes. The water slides and jumps were super fun. We only did about 4 based on water levels, etc but we all had a blast!!!! Afterwards, we had a wonderful lunch. The restaurant was clean and the food was great. We then toured a fruit/chocolate/cocoa area. Some souvenirs were available. He even offered to take us anywhere else. It was like our own private tour and it was fabulous after being on a crowded cruise ship. I love that my kids were able to experience another culture like this. Our photos were purchased separately and he emailed to us via Google file the following day. The pictures turned out super cute. We were given wifi to make the transaction via PayPal but they also accepted other methods of payment. Take cash for tips and souvenirs. We would 100% do this again. It was wonderful!!!!

Hiking. Waterfalls, lunch and chocolate - This was a great experience. You have to walk a little bit since they can’t go into the port area but it’s an easy walk. William was our tour guide and we felt very safe with him. He let us key our stuff in the van while we went on the waterfall excursion and met us at the end. He was very patient and answered our questions with no issue. I wish my husband had tipped a little better so if the proprietor is reading this and can give me Venmo or PayPal info for William Gonzales I’d like to send him some extra tip. This was the same excursion that the people on our cruise were on, we just paid a lot less. The food at lunch was delicious btw. I’d do this one again.

All good - The tour guides were amazing and the food was really good It was a long walk but so worth it at the end Kids had so much fan Next time would like them to pick us up from a closer point

10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND - We had soooo much fun! Our tour guide Elvis who is pictured in the group photo made our trip more enjoyable. Very professional tour company!

Awesome experience beginning to end! - The waterfall and ziplining tour was the highlight of the trip for our 7 day cruise that we took with family and friends. It was great beginning to end…..scenic drive, great hiking, great zip lining and great waterfalls. Everyone with DR PRIME TOURS was super hospitable. Thanks!

Worth it - What can I say definitely worth it. We met Jonathan (shooter aka our paparazzi) outside of the cruise port at 0800. We were super early, we were transported to another area to wait on a couple that was running behind no big deal. We left at around 0815 once the other couple arrived. We headed to the falls which was about a 25 min drive. We were all fitted for life vests and helmets and off we went. We had Felix as our guide. The walk to the hike is not for the unfit, hungover or frail it's a helluva hike my calfs are still screaming and I consider myself semi-fit. Anyways it was definitely worth it. The falls, little swimming holes and stone slides were amazing. Would I do it again DEFINITELY!!!. I'm glad we did. Lunch was great as well, it was buffet style. Please bring money for tips. William was our driver and was also exceptional.
