So much fun!! - This excursion was incredible! The water fall experience was adventurous and beautiful. Our driver’s name was Alfredo and our photographer was Elvis. They were both very professional and a lot of fun to spend the day with. We were so impressed and would recommend this excursion to anyone who asks.

This was so much fun! We... - This was so much fun! We were looking for something a little bit adventurous and this experience definitely accomplished that! Felix and Freddy were great at getting us down the falls safely (and encouraging me to man up and do the 20 ft jump). Highly recommend!! Keep in mind that there is uphill hiking involved in this experience—it’s only about 10-15 mins, but it’s definitely important to bring closed toed water shoes if possible. Getting to the falls from the port was a little confusing—we didn’t realize we had a personal taxi driver responsible for us (no big vehicle/bus for the group), but the men directing the taxis were very helpful and got ahold of the tour operator for us 🙏

Cheap Alternative to Cruise Excursion - Scenery during the taxi ride over to the falls was beautiful. The little road that goes into the waterfalls entrance was a dirt path so we were nervous at first as there was a small misunderstanding on which one of Alfredo's drivers would take us at the cruise port. Luckily, I had contacted the whatsapp number beforehand, letting Alfredo know that I wouldn't have wifi on the cruise and he told me to ask for his name at the port. If you are stopping over at Amber Cove, go to the taxi area at the cruise port to ask for his name. Our driver, Antonio Camilo, spoke good enough English for us to communicate. He got us to the waterfalls before everyone from the cruises came over, and bought us water along the way to take up the mountain. He easily led us to the folks who would give us the life jackets and helmets and was there when we came back down. This service included the roundtrip ride, entrance tickets and bottled water. I was under the wrong impression at first that An Camilo would also accompany us as a guide for the waterfalls, but the guides are included in the entrance ticket. This was a very affordable way for the two of us to be able to visit the Damajagua Waterfalls, and we had a private car going to and from the waterfalls. The trip from the cruise terminal to the waterfalls and back was about 3 hours. Bring extra money if you want to take a tour to downtown Puerto Plata as well. Overall, I'd highly recommend.

Safe professional company, fun excursion, must try! - Alfredo had Andres pick us up at port taxi area inside Amber Cove with our name on a a sign. VERY PROFESSIONAL company. They stay at the falls so it’s safe to lock any extra belongings in the car. Water shoes for rent $2. We brought a waterproof phone holder to take photos & hold cash (tips for guides after), it worked great. The guides on the falls tour are awesome! After, Andre’s brought us our shoes, bag and pulled the car around with air conditioning on. Great service. Tip good!

driver was fantastic as we're the waterfalls. However, it was advertised with water, wifi, and cocktail. None provided - Didn't have wifi, water or cocktails as advertised. The rest was great. Our driver and tour operators were excellent. A must do excursion .

Complete waste of time and money - This was a total waste of time. They didn’t tell us until halfway through our hike that because of the rain the previous three days were only seeing one waterfall and that all we would be able to do was splash around at the bottom. The trail was super crowded and slow because there were so many people going to this one waterfall. I understand they can’t control the weather, but they should let us know beforehand that we are not getting what we paid for and the option to cancel or book something different.
