You should do this tour if you love adventure. Puerto Plata with its charms invites you to experience the 7 waterfalls of Damajagua (Charcos), discovered just a few years ago and submerged in the beautiful hills of the northern mountain range, this natural monument is part of the system of protected areas of the Dominican Republic. 7 Waterfalls is hidden up in a tropical canyon is a string of waterfalls that you can hike to and slide down, swim under, and jump off on your way back down Jump, swim, and slide down natural waterslides.
Buffet , lunch, Water, coke , equipment, and round-trip transportation from the cruise terminal are included. Note: 27waterfalls are close for the moment because don’t have a lot water We are just doing 7waterfalls excursion.
- Minimum age 8. Children 8-17 must be accompanied by an adult
- It is recommended that you wear an old pair of running shoes, swimwear and a towel. We recommend women wear shorts over their bathing suits.
- Professional guides going with you to the waterfall he wait for us in the waterfall.
- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities and not possible for wheelchair users
- Not available to children under 8 years of age

For the adventurous, the best choice in Puerto Plata - This tour team does it right. The hike and falls were beautiful! Our guide was full of passion and wanted to share everything he could about his home, especially the local lifestyle and agriculture. He made two special stops just for me to try locally prepared Dominican coffee and to try a local beer. Not part of the packaged tour but he went out of his way to make our experience memorable. One of the best days I’ve ever had on a vacation!

An awesome experience and adventure with DSRR! - This was a great excursion! I went solo and met a fun group of adventurers on this tour. We enjoyed hiking, sliding down and jumping off waterfalls. The DSRR took great care of us from food to beverages, taking photos, chauffeuring us around, showing us local attractions and more. Shout out to Werbe, Aristides & sexy papi chulo for all they did to ensure an amazing experience in the DR.

Highly recommend - This was an amazing tour and our hosts and photographer Monkey was great. Highly recommended. The hike was strenuous, but we were given time to rest and water. And sliding the waterfalls was exhilarating.

DO IT - This was one of the best tour experiences I've ever had and I've been on quite a few tours. Our guide was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable but also super chill and fun. The waterfalls are so beautiful and refreshing and fun to slide down. It was a perfect day. Plus the value of this tour, given everything you get, is really amazing. 10/10!

A must do in the DR! - What an awesome adventure. From the bus ride, friendly staff/tour guide, hike to the waterfalls, delicious lunch this excursion was well worth it and then some! It’s a great hike up to the first waterfall. Lots and lots of foliage. Great walking paths. Our tour guide from DSRR was awesome and very knowledgeable and so was our guide throughout the hike Gari. Our tour guide even took our pictures and video which I am very excited to receive the link for this. This is an extra optional purchase at the end of the tour, that I know will be well worth it! I’d highly recommend this

Great adventure! - Great family owned company. We were picked up in a nice vehicle at the resort and they explained the excursion on the way there. We started with a 30 minute hike to the top that was steep, but we had rest stops along the way, and it was well worth it! The guides were kind and engaging, and our photographer did a great job of capturing our adventure! It really is best to not take your phone unless you have a waterproof cover with a lanyard. After the adventure was over we had a great buffet meal that was delicious. The scenery is amazing and we are so glad we booked it!

Fantastic!! - Some of the most friendly and kind people run this business! Hands down in my top 5 excursions ever!!
My fiancé and I booked this last minute and there was a good mix of friends, family, a few couples. This would be good for any kids 8 plus who enjoy hiking/outdoors and sliding/jumping into the falls. (It’s crowded but not as bad as I would have thought). The falls are stunning.
The hike is 45 minutes and would rate it moderate but they take A LOT of breaks. Personally I would have liked to move a bit faster but I also hike often. The views are gorgeous. We did have start time/leave time of 8:30 am but did not start the excursion until 9:40 am because some people were late getting to the excursion.
The walk from the ship to the meeting point is 15 minutes AFTER you leave through the gate so if you are on a cruise, give yourself a good 30-40 minutes to meet up with them so everyone else doesn’t have to wait on you.
The lunch was delicious and mini coke was fantastic. The mini market is worth the fun stop. The guides make you feel welcome. The pictures they take of you is worth buying, especially in a group! This truly was such a great day - thank you!!!

Excellent Family Trip to Waterfalls at Damajagua. - One of the most enjoyable and incredible experiences my family has ever had on an excursion. We booked this directly while on a cruise to Puerto Plata through DSRR. Jhonie was our driver and JB was our tour guide. What a great team. Jhonie stayed with our things and helped us with anything we needed. JB was so energetic and engaging with our family. His sense of humor was perfect and he went out of his way to take plenty of pictures and video while we enjoyed hiking to the falls and jumping and sliding into the water below us. The food was excellent. JB went the extra mile for us as we toured a place that grew local fruits, and rolled handmade cigars. We had the best mango, dragonfruit, guanábana, and coconut we’ve ever tasted. JB and his team are the best at what they do and will ensure your family has the best time possible.

Best excursion experience ever!! - Absolutely best excursion experience ever! So glad we did not do the one from the cruise, as this was such a personalized experience and a lot cheaper. Our family of 8 had a blast (our kids are from 9-17)! Worth every penny and a memory of a lifetime!
