An excellent tour in Puerto Plata. - This is an excellent tour to experience the Highlights of Puerto Plata. You can somewhat customize your tour and see what you want. Our guide was Jesus Castro and he provided a great tour experience. He is your driver, guide, security, paparazzi and a whole lot more. We went to all of the places on the itinerary and few other places as well. There are a lot of places to buy ant souvenirs you may want. You can also stop and eat at a restaurant if you wish. Thank you Jesus and E&J Taxi tours for a great time.

Henry - Henry was very nice. We were over an hour late because of a different ship time vs. Local and the helpful people at the taxi stand were able to track him down. I've would recommend him.
His English is passable but would be beneficial to him to improve upon

Gran tour - Excellent guide Jesus Castro, very friendly, entertaining, took us to very interesting places. Cart with cooling, soft drinks and water. Always on the lookout. It's worth it.

Jesus was our guide. He... - Jesus was our guide. He prepared cold water for us and we are his only guests! He very kind and take pictures for us all the time… and tailored the trip to what we wanted. We really enjoyed!

The best guided and private tour ever - The best tour experience! The driver Jesus Castro showed us all the main points of the Puerto Plata! Was able to show the history of the city, taking us some photos like a pro and showing us the most POI for this city. Passionate about is job! Recommended

Do yourself a favor and book with E&J! - We could not have asked for a better guide and experience in Puerto Plata, for the short time we were there. We were fortunate to get E from E&J, also known as Elian. Elian was very personable and an amazing guide! He truly catered to the clients and he will ensure you get the most out of your time with him. Elian is a great conversationalist and he is a very proud Dominicano, who is happy to share his culture. absolutely were able to customize our day and had an amazing time! We visited gorgeous sites, a chocolate factory, and a cigar making facility. But the capstone of our trip was the local establishment we had an amazing meal.
When we told Elian we wanted a local lunch where there were no tourists. He took us to El Maguito, and let me tell you, this is a must try spot. We had a whole red snapper, and the flavors were delightful. We also ordered some crispy chicken, sliced avacado, red beans and rice, and fried plantains. Everything was delicious and I would eat there again and again until I tried everything, and then I'd start over.
When I go back to Puerto Plata, which I fully intend to do, I will call upon E&J to help guide me around. I really want to experience some of the sites outside the city, the waterfalls and swimming holes in particular.
Do yourself a favor and schedule some time with Elian.

If you don't book with E&J, you're really missing out! - We could not have asked for a better guide and experience in Puerto Plata, for the short time we were there. One day in Puerto Plata !!! - Very picturesque city especially the colonial area. The pink street, the amber and chocolate museum, awesome. Its exquisite Caribbean food, delicious and friendly and helpful people.

Disappointed - Juan was a great guide but ended tour in 2 hours . It was supposed to be a 3 hour tour. Very disappointed.
