Awesome tour - I had a really good time on this tour. Due to not having wifi on my cruise, I wasn't able to confirm the tour time with Ezequiel. I arrived later than expected, but they were able to accommodate me and my partner on a later tour in the afternoon. I really appreciated having a local guide us around the best spots of Puerto Plata, all while being mindful of the limited time we had. I also can't thank E enough for the amazing photos he took of us. He's such a great photographer! Thanks also for indulging our wish to have authentic Dominican food! Muchas gracias!

Awesome relaxing day - We had a positive lovely experience with Josue; Such a lovely man. We highly recommend. He takes you around personally and acts as both your driver and personal tour guide. We even liked the restaurant who made slamming cocktails. La Carihuela. We could customize the experience how we liked.

Great overview of the Island - Jose was very pleasant, knowledgeable and personable, he accommodated our changes and made it a memorable trip.

Excellent way to explore Puerto Plata! - Elian was an amazing chauffeur and tour guide for Jonathan and I. We hired him to take us around Puerto Plata. He showed us the tourist highlights, but also some local fare. He even pointed out his dad and introduced us to his sister, who happened to be playing in the band at the town square. We enjoyed our tour with him so much that we asked him to take us out again the following day to the cable car and then for lunch and a brief tour of Sosua. He quickly inferred our interests and showed us some of the beaten track places. He even introduced us to Pico de Pollo, which was delicious. We both highly recommend him.

The BEST in tour of Puerto Plata from the friendliest Dominican famillia I know (now)! - Elian was very communicative before our tour and even helped us arrange transportation from the airport to our resort! I was nervous at first because I don't speak Spanish well but his English is top notch! He was very friendly and was able to answer all of our questions and give us insights into real, authentic Dominican lifestyle! He was fabulous and allowed us to tailor our tour to include sights we wanted to see and leave off ones we didn't. I couldn't have asked for a better guide! Best way to communicate is What's App in the DR! 10/10 recommend this company for any of your travel/tour needs!

One of the best tours yet! - We had such a good time touring DR. It was our first time visiting. Our guide went to the wrong port so we started a little later than expected but E&J were so nice, making sure we were comfortable & providing us with drinks while we waited. Guide (can’t remember his name) was prepared to take us wherever we wanted to go. We didn’t have anything mapped out so we asked him for some suggestions. He was great. Even took us to a local restaurant for lunch. We truly enjoyed ourselves & would have given it 5 stars if not for being late. The van was comfy, the guide was great and we never felt rushed. We will definitely use again and we recommend 100%. They were awesome.

We enjoy sightseeing not... - We enjoy sightseeing not tour jewelry store or chocolate factory. The whole tour driving area only about 5 miles within city.

Don’t waste your time in the city… - We had a customized list of places we wanted to visit none of which led to any shopping, but our guide Jesus Castro insisted on taking us to these places. The places we did want to visit he ran us right through quickly. To be fair though these places are just tourist traps just to get people to come into the city i.e. Umbrella street or Paseo de Dona Blanca to spend money. He asked if I was interested in cigars and I mistakingly replied yes, so he ran us to a “cigar factory” which was a store front where they push you into to buying cigars. The final straw was when he walked us to the Ember museum which wasn’t on our list. Handed us off to a guide who ran us through the little museum and then was trying to sell us jewelry. When we finally made it clear we weren’t buying anything the guide motioned for our driver. They made some gestures to each other as if we couldn’t see them and you could tell our driver wasn’t pleased. This fast paced sells trip made my wife feel unsafe and had myself feel defenseless. Now I don’t believe our driver was nefarious, I actually believe he is a great guy, but from what I can tell is he makes money if we or anyone buys from these places. I’m sure that is the case for all these types of tours. The one positive was getting to see the Cathedral San Felipe which was on our list. We ended our day short within two hours of leaving the port.
