Great tour of the city and beach highlight. - Winston was our tour guide, very professional and knowledgeable. The driver Luis and Antonio who stayed with us at the beach completed the team. They took us to the historic downtown area where we walked around viewing the statues and places of interest including an old church with all mahogany pews, a little shopping too. The tour continued to the Umbrella and Pink road area, learned why the road was painted Pink. Then on to a Fort (very beautiful site) next to the other cruise port and continued to the beach break, where you could buy gifts or purchase local cuisine. Very beautiful beach, clean. the waves were a bit rough that day but it didn't prevent us from having a wonderful time.Got our water and rum punch and banana on the bus. All in all a great tour. A word of caution though, it is an extremely far/long walk from the ship (20-25mins walking briskly,) to the meeting point (outside of the gate on the road.) So if there are other customers who take forever to get to the bus for whatever reason/s, you just have to sit and wait on them. The Tour guide did try to call them though.

Dominican for the Day! - We truly felt like part of our guide, Alex's family. He is so passionate about his country and its history. We went on a combined town tour and then Anthony ensured we had a nice time at the beach. We felt very safe and could truly enjoy our time at the beach. Please note that people will still try to sell you stuff at the beach, but it is far less than would be at a public beach. Great rum punch and fresh Dominican bananas provided on the bus back to port. Fantastic! Would definitely book with this company again.

Fun times with Winston! - Winston and his team were very professional, knowledgeable of the area, and made sure we were safe at all times. The team took our group to several places which included a museum guided tour and a beach break at the end where you could buy gifts or purchase local cuisine. This crew was fun and knows how to have a good time and was very generous with the local music and homemade Rum punch!

Get away from the crowd! - Completely enjoyed our day! Guides were friendly and fun (Tony, Xander and Oliver!). Informative tour of city square and festive umbrella row and lounging at the beach was peaceful and serene! Highly recommend! Tour bus was very nice and had AC and small group of 20 or less. Quite a walk from the dock—12 min. Is accurate!

Adaptable for weather but parked FAR from ship - I was going to cancel due to bad weather (rain), but they modified the excursion and it turned out to be a good experience. The substitute was the cable car up the mountain which would have been great on a clear day. We enjoyed the pink alley and umbrella street. Two issues: (1) Where the small excursion van was parked waiting for the guests is extremely far from the ships; at the end of the excursion we had to taxi it back to the entrance of the gate. It required a lot of asking around for directions out of the port and wondering just how far we had to walk. (2) We also had to wait a long time for other guests to arrive (30 minutes), since the start time is not specific (only indicates that it starts 45 min after the ship docks). Had I known these two issues, I would have booked through the ship. Because of this I dropped the rating by 1 star. The van was very comfortable and roomy. Alex our tour guide and Luis our driver were very pleasant. The attractions they showed us at made the rainy day a pleasant one. Great way to see the Dominican Republic. Their effort at making sure guests were provided with a good itinerary in unpredictable weather makes this tour company a very excellent one. Thanks!

Short but sweet - The tour was good. Alex was very informative about each spot and made sure everyone was taken care of. The bus was very comfortable and they provided water. The driver was very careful. The rum punch was really good! The places we visited were very beautiful, especially the fort and the area with the pink street and umbrellas. Personally I would skip visiting the church. I felt a bit uncomfortable taking pictures in a place where people worship. I would rather spend more time in the area where the pink street was for more pictures. There was a place that sold empanadas there and it was delicious. The beach was BEAUTIFUL 😍! Very relaxing. And the food there was great! Highly recommend the Mac and cheese thing (can’t remember the name). I also ordered something else, something with pork. The service there was good. Overall, it was a good experience and service. Definitely wear sunscreen because it gets really hot and crowded. The only downside was the miscommunication. First, I was not able to download the pdf files. I tried with and without the trip advisor app and nothing worked. Second, after finding Alex outside the port. He told me he was waiting for someone else. At that time, my family was exhausted and waiting outside in the heat. He did not ask for our names to see if we were the missing party. We stood there for what seemed like 20 mins. Another tour guide came by, asked our names. I knew it was for us because we saw that Alex was wearing the shirt with the smiling shirt logo. It wasn’t until a lady with the smiling logo came and verified our party. We walked with her to the bus and that’s when I realized Alex was on the bus. Had the lady not came for us, we would’ve been waiting. It would have been best if he asked us our names initially and it would’ve gone smoother.
