• Puerto Plata - Embark on a scenic journey along a rugged trail through the dense jungle, leading to the shoreline where you’ll trot beside the lapping waves. Pause for a moment to capture memories against the backdrop of the stunning azure sea before continuing to Bergantin beach’s bar for a respite and the chance to purchase keepsakes (or additional beverages not included in the tour).
  If conditions permit, you’ll have the unique opportunity to swim with a horse. However, be aware that at times, this may not be feasible due to powerful waves and currents. Our priority is always your safety!

Times:
• Pick-up for the morning tour begins at 8:45 am (from Bachata, with Playa Dorada pick-ups around 9:15 am)
• The ride commences at 9:45 am
• The initial leg of the ride lasts about 1 hour
• Intermission of 30-40 minutes
• The return ride takes roughly 30 minutes

You’ll embark on a journey along a gravel trail, cutting through the jungle to reach the beach, where the horses’ hooves will be lightly touched by the rolling waves. A pause for a photo session against the beautiful turquoise ocean view is next on the agenda before heading to a beachside bar at Bergantin beach. Here, you may rest, buy souvenirs or any other drinks not included in the tour. Provided the sea conditions are safe, you’ll be given the opportunity to swim alongside a horse - a truly extraordinary experience. However, do bear in mind that this might not always be possible if the waves and currents are too strong. As always, we prioritize Safety First!
