Great value for a family excursion - Our itinerary changed last second and we were able to schedule on a days notice and Fabio was a great guide. Showed us around the town and explained about their history. It was a cost effective way to see things

Great excursion and top notch guide - We did the city/beach tour today while in port from Liberty of the Seas. Our tour guide Fabio was amazing! Easy to fine him once we left the port. We went to rum tasting, chocolate tour, local lunch and beach. Fabio was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were a group of 6- 4 adults and two kids ages 7 and 11. This was a much better excursion than being stuck on a big tour with a hug bus!

Outstanding Tour - Really enjoyed our morning with Jesus and Ricardo. Very informative as we drove around, and the tour included many stops and site visits that other tours did not list in their materials. Highly recommend this group and tour if you are cruising to the Dominican Republic.

Fun and exciting Puerto Plata city tour! - I highly recommend this tour! Ricardo and Jesus were stellar tour guides. From pickup to drop off, they were kind, knowledgeable and fun! Great for families with young children, even with the rum and tobacco tour, there was something to learn about the Dominican people.

Great day trip for info - Very nice tour with Marysol. Jesus was our guide. The tour was informative and fun. We liked the rum distillery, amber museum and the chocolate factory was great. Really liked the hot chocolate at the chocolate factory and bought a bag as well as some rum. I was under the impression that we were going to a cigar factory when in fact it was a part of the amber museum tour. I wish I would have known because they allowed me to try a cigar which I really liked and would have bought a box but I thought that was a sample of the upcoming factory.

Thumbs up! - Friendly and knowledgeable guide and driver that took us to several very interesting places. Loved walking around Puerto Plata and seeing the classic cars, central park, and liked the rum factory sampling! We did find it sometimes hard to understand the tour guide, but he was very accommodating and repeated himself when asked. I recommend he get a microphone so people in the back of the bus can hear him as well as those in the front.

Terrible Experience - I’m not sure why there are so many good reviews of this company, but my experience was terrible. It felt like a bait and switch. I booked a private 27 Waterfalls tour and confirmed it the night before. When we met the guide in the morning, I was told that the 27 Waterfalls Park was closed and we would have to do a different tour or get a refund. I found it a bit odd that they said the park was closed, but at the port, there were still tickets to the park being sold. I was told that they offer an atv through the jungle to a beach or take a city tour. I asked if it would be a private tour as well, and I was told it would be. I was told it would cost more money. Unfortunately, I chose the ATV tour. This was the worst ATV tour ever. It was not private and it was so excruciatingly slow. The ‘jungle’ was actually just cow fields and I got covered in cow poop. They took us to some random shacks in the ‘jungle’ where people tried to pressure us to buy overpriced junk for about a half an hour. Then we rode on, through more cow poop to a terrible, dirty little beach where we stayed for about ten minutes. To add insult to injury, some lady from the group slammed into me as I was getting off my atv and I fell. It was not safe, not enjoyable and nothing like I was told. Beware when you book. You may not get what you paid for.
