Fortaleza San Felipe - The construction of this fortress was commissioned by King Philip II of Spain and was completed in 1577 by Rengifo de Angulo, the fort’s warden. The fortress functioned as a prison on several occasions and the patrician Juan Pablo Duarte was held there as a political prisoner by order of Pedro Santana.
Del Oro Chocolate Factory - The Del Oro Chocolate Factory is well known for its chocolate production. Taking a tour of this factory is a must. The cultivation, processing, and export of raw cocoa and other cocoa products is a large part of their economy and they do it very well. Much of their chocolate is exported to the US and Europe.
cosita rica beach - Cosita Rica is a beach located on the Atlantic coast of the island, just 2.5 kilometers from downtown Puerto Plata. It features a long, straight shoreline with turquoise, crystal-clear waters and gleaming sand.

If travelers come from different meeting points, please go to the central park of Puerto Plata, in front of the town hall. We will pick you up there. This point is central and close to the hotels. In addition, they will be safe since it is an area protected by municipal police.

Safe local tour guide - My husband and I had the best time with Lucilo!! He was friendly and open to whatever we wanted to do. He knew various SAFE local stops that familiarized us to Puerto Plata instead of staying at Amber Cove. I Highly recommend!!
