Beautiful and fun adventure park with awesome staff! - The zip lining was really fun and easy to navigate. Felt very safe and they prepared you well esp for first timers. All the staff was exceptional and very welcoming, Jimmy gave us the royal treatment and a beautiful tour of the gardens as well. We didn’t stay for lunch but the kitchen looked great and the food smelled wonderful. Would definitely recommend to others.

Country World Adventure - Jhoan was a wonderful guide. He made sure we were comfortable and safe. There were a great number of steps to climb and quite a bit of uphill walking between ziplines. We are both in our late seventies and had a lot of fun and returned safely.

Fun, but be ready to Climb/Hike - I booked this excursion through Royal Caribbean & we did this excursion on November 27, 2024. Myself (46F, 225lbs) and my daughter (16, 130lbs) wanted to see the country & have some fun. Another family was also on the excursion, a father and his 2 sons, both younger than my daughter. Our tour guide, Floricel, met us at the port and was with us all the way until he dropped us back off at the port. He was AMAZING! You could tell he really cared about us and was happy to share his knowledge about his country. Manuel was our driver and he got us there and back safely. Let's just say that the road rules are more like "suggestions" in Puerto Plata! I was glad to not have to drive. The zipline facilities were adequate, if a bit rustic. We felt totally safe. We were very strapped in. Some of the pathways are dirt/rock/stone. So, it's not very comfortable underfoot & can be slippery. On the steepest paths, they did have a rope you could hold onto along the way. The kicker was, once you got to the top of the path, then you had to climb stairs to get to the platform. Needless to say, i got my workout in! The tour was stated as mildly strenuous. Umm, it's a little more than that. At the end of the tour, my phone said i had climbed the equivalent of 31 flights of stairs! The guides kept telling us that it was unseasonably warm for November. It was hot as hades and no breeze even though it was early morning. That made the hiking/climbing harder. They do provide a bottle of water which was VERY MUCH appreciated. Overall, i would probably not book this again, but only because i want to see other things and i would like more height to the ziplines. I WOULD recommend this though for anyone who has not done it....just be ready to CLIMB! It's a nice excursion that doesn't take all day and allows you to do other things after should you choose to.

We had a great time ! - The taxi was waiting for us at the meeting point we had agreed upon. It was easy to find the meeting point. 20 minute transportation. Travel and zip lines were safe. When we arrived there, several employees were waiting for us to make preparations. Two of the eight ziplines were under renovation, so we had the chance to ride the two largest ziplines twice. The zipline activity lasted 45 minutes. Following the zipline ride, an employee showed us around the on-site garden, which contained several animals and fruit trees. This employee, who spoke French, took the time to answer our questions and explain several pieces of information to us. What a nice employee !

Excursion not as portrayed - We chose this excursion based on the description of the type of walking which was listed as mild to moderate, being able to walk over uneven surfaces, sand and gravel…my husband has one leg and is limited to the extreme type of walking, climbing, this excursion involved! This was an extreme walking adventure at best…there was no mention of hiking up 90 degree hills….I would highly recommend you changing the description of this excursion to extreme. It was very misleading and a disappointment!!!!,
