Great time! Challenging! Would do this again! - We had a great time! Be prepared for lots of walking with stairs, uneven uphill paths, etc. We are 2 out of shape 60+ year olds. We have done other zip lines before and found these challenging for us, but we completed the course & loved it! There are 8 lines, number 5 being the highest point. It was only my husband & myself so we were able to go at our pace. The guides were very professional. Equipment was in good condition. They assign a photographer to your group who did a great job. The cost of the photos was confusing, but I figured out it was $60/USD per person. We are supposed to receive them via email by 10:30 tonight, so we have not seen the actual results, yet. A couple things to know before you go. The walk from the ship to the pickup point is far! They are outside the port area, far enough it is difficult to see them from the gates. Turn left & keep walking past everyone else. It rained while we were on the lines. We kept going. I say this to point out that decent shoes are required. The paths get slippery when wet. Also bring lots of cash for extras. Photos, handmade artwork, taxi back into the port because you will be exhausted- lol. They do provide transportation to/from the port, but outside the gates. They were able to accommodate us when we were ready to return to the ship earlier than scheduled. We would do this excursion again!

Amazing experience!! - This was an amazing excursion, we did 8 zip lines with breathtaking views! All the guides were friendly and took care of us well. After we had the opportunity to explore the farm, animals, garden and have a drink. This did not feel like a tourist hot spot which was what we wanted. We were picked up from Amber Cove, you do have to walk about 15 mins from where you get off the boat and walk out of the port completely but they laid out instructions on where to meet very clearly beforehand. I would definitely recommend, this was our favourite excursion! We will be visiting this place again.

Great family Ranch and Experience! - Beautiful setting. Zip lining was a blast. Very good customer service. Our guide Henry even collected some fresh mangoes and cleaned them, cut them up for us at the end of our tour. Owner game us a ride back to the ship. Great people!

Book the Zip Line Excursion! - This was my first experience zip lining and WOW did it ever deliver. The transportation from the cruise port was well organized, the guide on the open air bus was informative and we got to see a little of the countryside. At the zip line site the staff was efficient and fun! Lockers were available for our "stuff", water was furnished, and there were restrooms. We were briefed and buckled into our harnesses. I had brought my go-pro and the helmets were set up so that it could be attached. I wasn't sure so had brought the headband for it and that helped attach it. I can't say too many nice things about the staff. They were professional and obviously knew what they were doing. I felt perfectly safe the entire time. And they gave me fresh mangoes from the trees there! I can certainly recommend that if you want to try zip lining - book this excursion. Oh, and by the way, I'm almost 75 yrs old and while the climbs between the towers - and up the towers - can be a bit much, it was totally doable!

An Excursion You MUST do!! - This was by far one of our favorite excursions while in Puerto Plata! The owner D and all of his employees extremely friendly, welcoming, and most importantly fun to hang around!! The day started with ziplining which we had never done.. it was so fun! 8 different zip lines which my 4 year old did all except one of them solo! We then did horseback riding through some trails and saw all kinds of wildlife. The horses very well trained and well behaved and easy to control. Our son rode with one of the tour guides and had a blast! A homemade Dominican lunch was included with a couple cocktails. Lunch was amazing!! Ended the day with ATV riding.. through streams and jungle and part of the mountains. There was a gentlemen carving out of soap stones and we bought one of the sculptures. Before we left we explored the gardens which had beautiful flowers, talking parrots, and flamingos! We definitely 100% recommend visiting Country World Adventures you will NOT be disappointed! Thanks D!!

Fun and interesting park for zipline and other adventures - Country World Adventures is a great place to zipline. Not too difficult for beginners and not too easy for veterans as they have 8 runs of varying heights/distances. You do need to be mobile as there are several towers that have 3+ flights of stairs to climb. The park/ranch also has a collection of animals (like a petting zoo) and a wonderful garden with many tropical fruits/plants, our guide even gave us some to eat (mango, starfruit, etc). Daniel the owner made sure all of the pickup/dropoff arrangements were made on time. The zipline guides were very nice and helpful too. I would have given 5 stars except that several runs have low cable clearances and the guides should give more precautions to beginner riders before zipping down to ensure they avoid the missing cables/blocks. I would recommend this excursion for a fun time.

Nice views and rides on a very difficult course. Not a typical tree to tree zipline - The transportation to and from the park was on time and good. The grounds, operators and condition of the zip lines were excellent. Now comes the not so great parts; the harnesses and helmets had a terrible smell, dirty and moldy, as they are kept in an out building which must not be watertight. Also this is not a traditional zipline course which goes from tree to tree but rather goes from platform to platform with alot of walking up paths and stairs to reach each platform. It is not pleasant and enjoyable as two other zipline courses we've done before, it is truly a VERY challenging course due to all the walking, sometimes uphill, and then climbing up the platforms. The terrible smell of the helmets and harnesses add an additional challenge to the excursion. I would not recommend this excursion to anyone unless they are in very good physical shape and are looking for a challenging workout.
